Preparados para uma maratona de posts de Londres? Londres é sempre uma cidade que me inspira imenso, por isso criei imenso conteúdo para vos mostrar. Começamos então com o outfit do primeiro dia. Não sei porquê, mas o leopard print faz-me sempre lembrar Londres, talvez por estar tão associado às rock stars dos anos 70 ou por ser um padrão tão cool. Por isso soube logo que queria levar uma peça com este padrão. A Primavera fez-se sentir por lá (alguns dias até pareceram mesmo Verão), por isso a minha escolha foi esta blazer que comprei no ano passado, mas que continua a ser das minhas peças preferidas no meu armário. O meu padrão preferido num blazer (que é só o tipo de casaco que eu mais uso), que mais podia pedir? E foi assim que andei no nosso primeiro dia por Londres. Amanhã já vos mostro tudo que andámos a fazer e a conhecer. Espero que gostem!

Are you ready for a marathon of posts from London? London is a city that always inspires me a lot so I created a lot of content to show you. We will start then with the outfit I wore on the first day. I don't know why, but the leopard print always reminds me of London, maybe because it's so associated withe the 70s rock stars or because it's such a cool print. So I knew I wanted to take a piece with this print with me. Spring finally showed up while we were there (somedays actually felt like Summer), so my choice was this blazer that I bought last year, but that still is one of my favourite pieces in my closet. My favourite print on a blazer (that is the kind of jacket that I wear the most), what more could I ask for? And this was how I walked around on the first day in London. Tomorrow I will show you where we went to. I hope you like it!

Já alguma vez ouviram falar na lei da atracção? Tenho a certeza que já. A primeira vez que ouvi falar disso foi num vídeo no youtube, mas a verdade é que já era algo em que eu acreditava, antes mesmo de saber que era algo que tinha um nome. Explicando muito rapidamente, a lei da tracção é a capacidade de atrair para as nossas vidas o que quer que seja em que nos estamos a focar. Acreditem ou não, mas funciona! Tenho a certeza que já tiveram aqueles dias maus em que parece que tudo de errado que pode acontecer vos acontece e não podia mesmo ser pior. Isso acontece, porque focas-te tanto nessas coisas negativas que eventualmente é isso mesmo que atrais. É por isso que é tão importante pensar positivo e focares-te naquilo que realmente importa e no que te faz feliz. Claro que é mais fácil falar, do que fazer, mas lembra-te que aquilo em que te tornas, é naquilo que tu pensas. Não sei se estou a fazer muito sentido, mas se pensares que estás triste ou que a tua vida é uma merd*, a tua vida inevitavelmente vai se tornar numa merd*, porque é isso que vais atrair e onde estás a pôr toda a tua energia. Por isso sim, eu genuinamente acredito que a lei da atracção existe. E isso é outra coisa muito importante, tens que genuinamente acreditar. Se genuinamente acreditares que consegues fazer alguma coisa, tu vais acabar por fazer essa coisa. Acreditem ou não, mas as nossas mentes são mesmo muito poderosas e simplesmente não podes negar isso. Digam-me, são como eu que acredita na lei da atracção ou nem por isso? Partilhem tudo comigo!

Have you ever heard about law of attraction? I'm pretty sure you did. I've heard about it through a youtube video, but I already believe in it, even before I knew it was a thing. Simply put, the law of atraction is the the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. Believe it or not, it really works! I'm sure you already had those really bad days that you really feel everything is going wrong and it couldn't be worst. You are so focused on those negative things that eventually you will stay under the cloud. That's why it's so important to positive thinking and really focus on what really matters and makes you happy. Yes, this is easier said than done, but remember that what you think, you will become. I don't know if that makes much sense to you, but if you think you are sad or that your life is really depressing, your life unavoidable will be depressing, because that's the kind of energy you're attracting and that's the kind of thoughts your getting you strenght into. So, yes, I genuinely believe that law of attraction exists and that is a thing. And that's another thing about it, you can't just think that maybe it's real, you have to genuinely believe it. If you genuinely believe that you can do something, eventualy you will end up doing it. Believe it or not, but our minds are very powerful and that's something that you just can't deny. Último outfit #Airportstyle e, desta vez, a estrela principal é o leather jacket. Hoje já vamos regressar ao Porto e vai ser algo deste género que vou usar. O leather jacket é um casaco que vem sempre comigo quando viajo, afinal de contas fica bem com tudo e é um casaco que uso em vários dos outfits que levo quando viajo. Quanto aos jeans, há quem não goste de viajar de calças de ganga, mas os straight jeans, pelo menos para mim, são super confortáveis. Quanto ao calçado, gosto imenso de usar sapatilhas no aeroporto, mas os slippers são o calçado ideal. Super fáceis de descalçar (vocês sabem como é a segurança no aeroporto) e super confortáveis. Last outfit for the #Airportstyle and this time the main star is the leather jacket. We're going back home today and I'm going to travel in something like this. The leather jacket it's a jacket that always comes with me in every trip, afterall it looks good with everything and it's a jacket that I wear in many of the outfits I take with me when I travel. About the jeans, I know a lot of people don't like to travel in jeans, but straight jeans are really comfortable, at least for me. About the shoes, I really like to wear sneakers on the airport, but slippers are the perfect footwear. They're really easy to take off (you know how airport security can be) and really comfy. Lembram-se DESTE post que fiz com cinco das minhas músicas preferidas de sempre? Ficaram muitas músicas por vos mostrar, por isso decidi fazer uma segunda parte com mais cinco músicas que adoro e que podem passar meses e meses, mas continuo a adorá-las. Na verdade podia enumerar imensas músicas dos White Stripes que adoro, mas esta música em particular acho-a genial. É uma música bem longa para o normal (penso que tem cerca de 7 minutos), mas os solos de guitarra são fantásticos.
Actually I could choose a lot of songs that I love by The White Stripes, but this song in particular I find it great. It's a pretty long song from usual (I think it's around 7 minutes long), but the guitar solos always blow me away.

Já no outro post escolhi uma música da Lana Del Rey, mas não é segredo nenhum que é uma das minhas artistas preferidas. Não sei porquê, mas associo sempre esta música ao Verão e o videoclip é capaz de ser mesmo também o meu preferido.
I actually already chose a song by Lana Del Rey on the other post, but there's no secret that she is one of my favourite artists. I don't know why, but this song really reminds me of Summer and the music video is probably my favourite as well. 

Adoro esta música, adoro a letra, adoro a voz do Tom Meighan (o vocalista), por isso só boas razões para ser uma das minhas músicas preferidas. Na verdade, é uma música triste, o título diz tudo, mas acaba por ser mesmo muito bonita.
I love this song, I love the lyrics, I love Tom Meighan's voice (the lead singer), so only good reasons for this to be one of my favourite songs. It's actually a very sad song, the title says it all, but it's actually very beautiful.

E claro que esta lista tinha de incluir uma música dos Foo Fighters. O meu álbum preferido da banda é o Wasting Light e esta música é desse mesmo álbum. No Verão passado ouvi-a ao vivo e acho que me apaixonei ainda mais.
And of course this list had to include a Foo Fighters' song. My favourite album of the band is Wasting Light and this song is exactly from that album. Last Summer I heard it live and I think I fell even more in love with it.

E mais uma banda repetente do outro post, mas também algo previsível. Esta música é do álbum Midnight Boom e podia ter escolhido muitas outras músicas desse mesmo álbum, já disse num outro post que é o meu preferido dos The Kills, mas esta música está no top das minhas preferidas da banda.
And another repeating band from the other post, but also something quite predictable. This song is from the Midnight Boom album and I could choose some other songs from this same album, I already told you that it's my favourite from The Kills, but this song is on the top of my favourites from the band.

E aqui está o segundo outfit para esta série #AirportStyle. Estou a gostar imenso desta série de outfits, porque de certa forma estou a voltar à forma como costumava escrever os posts a falar-vos de cada peça, às vezes sabe bem. Anyway, mais uma vez é um outfit muito confortável, como deve ser quando vamos viajar. Desta vez, e como podem ver pelo título, é sobre as camadas. E apesar de não parecer que estou a usar muitas camadas, por baixo da malha, tenho uma t-shirt e esta é mesmo a minha dica: viajem sempre com uma peça de roupa mais quente (neste caso a malha), porque no avião pode ficar bastante frio. As calças também são de um tecido super leve e confortável. E quanto ao calçado, optei por sapatilhas, as Vans porque sei que as vou usar em mais outfits durante a viagem e também porque são mesmo muito confortáveis. Parece que já disse 'confortável' mil vezes, mas é mesmo algo que devem priorizar. Que acham? Usavam este outfit?

And here is the second outfit for this #AirportStyle series. I really love that I'm getting back to basics with this posts and talk you through each piece, it feels good sometimes. But anyway, once again, it's a very comfortable outfit like it should always be when we travel. This time is all about the layers like how you can read on the title. I know it doesn't look like I have a lot of layers on, but underneath the knit sweater, I have a t-shirt and here is my tip: always travel with a warmer piece (in this case it's the knit), because airplanes can get really cold. The pants are also on a very lightweight fabric and therefore super comfy. And for the footwear I went with sneakers, my beloved Vans, because I know I will wear them on other outfits along the trip and also because they really are very comfortable. It sounds like I said 'comfortable' a million times, but it really is something you have to prioritize. So, what do you think? Would you wear this outfit?

Viver como um local pode ser bastante difícil quando visitamos uma cidade pela primeira vez, porque, vamos ser honestos, de certeza que queres fazer todas as típicas coisas turísticas. Mas há pequenas coisas que podes fazer que te vão fazer sentir como um local, porque para mim é realmente a melhor forma de experienciar uma cidade e de sentir a sua vibe. Por isso aqui estão três dicas que te vão fazer sentir como um local.

Living like a local can be quite hard when you're travelling to a city for the first time, because you sure want to do all the touristy things. But there's small things you can do to really make you feel like a local, because honestly to me that's the best way to experience a city and really feel its vibe. So here are three tips that will really make you feel like a local.

TAKE THE SUBWAY
Sempre que viajo, adoro andar nos transportes públicos. Especialmente o metro é um sítio onde se encontram tantas pessoas e o transporte que a maior parte dos locais usam, por isso é uma excelente forma de te fazer sentir que pertences à cidade. 
Everytime I travel, I really like to take the public transportation. Especially the subway it's a place where you find a lot of people and the transportation that most locals use, so it's a really nice way to make you feel that you belong in that city.

STAY AT AN AIRBNB 
Claro que os hotéis são fantásticos, mas alugar um apartamento no Airbnb é uma excelente forma de te fazer sentir que realmente estás em casa. 
Of course hotels are great, but renting a flat at Airbnb it's an amazing way to make you feel that you are at home.

SPEAK THE LANGUAGE  
Esta é mais fácil quando viajamos para sítios onde falam inglês, mas mesmo que não seja o vosso caso, tentem aprender pequenas frases que usam no dia-a-dia e falem com os locais. Até mesmo quando precisam de indicações, façam-no também em vez de usar os vossos telemóveis. 
This one is easier if you're travelling to a city where english is the language, but try learning some small phrases that you use daily to speak with locals. Even when you need some directions, do it instead of using your phone.

Pois é, a minha viagem por Londres começa hoje e, por isso mesmo, decidi que esta semana aqui no blog vai ser dedicada a viagens. A altura que aí vem é sempre uma época em que começamos a viajar mais, por isso acho que é a altura perfeita para o fazer. Os outfits desta semana vão ser então tudo outfits perfeitos para usar no aeroporto, #AirportStyle. A escolha deste outfit foi toda em volta destas calças. Calças de fato-de-treino são perfeitas para viajar, porque, sinceramente, não me parece que consigam encontrar calças mais confortáveis que estas. Estas não são as típicas calças de fato-de-treino, porque têm estas aberturas de lado, mas, mesmo assim, quis balançar um bocadinho o desportivo das calças com uma peça mais formal, neste caso o blazer, mas optei por um blazer muito leve e solto, também para ser confortável. Conforto acima de tudo! Que acham? Usavam este outfit?

So my trip to London starts today so for that reason I decided that this week is going to be dedicated to travelling posts here on the blog. This time of the year it's a time when people start to travel more often, so I think it's the perfect time to do it. All the outfits I'm going to share with you this week are going to be outfits perfect for you to wear at the airport, #AirportStyle. Choosing this outfit was all about the pants. Track pants are perfect for travelling because honestly I'm pretty sure you can't find a pair of pants as comfortable as this ones. This are not those typical track pants, because they have this slits on the side, but I wanted to balance their sporty vibe anyway with a piece a bit more formal like this blazer, but a very loose and lightweight blazer to also be comfortable. So yeah, comfort is the priority! What do you think? Would you wear this outfit?

Pois é, a viagem que vou fazer esta semana é até Londres. Não conheço todas as cidades do Mundo (nem de longe), mas Londres é , definitivamente, das minhas cidades preferidas, caso contrário nunca teria tatuado as suas coordenadas geográficas, não é verdade? Vou já amanhã com a Li e vamos lá ficar até Sábado. Estou super entusiasmada para conhecer novos sítios e para criar conteúdo aqui para o blog. Viajar traz sempre uma nova inspiração, especialmente se for para uma cidade que gostamos tanto. That's right, I'm going back to London. I don't know all the cities in the world (not at all), but London definitely is one of my favourite cities, otherwise I wouldn't tattooed the geographic coordinates, right? I'm going tomorrow with Li and we're staying there until Saturday. I'm super excited to see new places and to create content for the blog. Em todos estes anos de blog, acho que é das poucas vezes em que partilho um outfit em que estou com o cabelo apanhado. Nunca gostei muito de me ver assim com o cabelo, todos nós temos algumas inseguranças e a minha (e pode parecer muito estúpido) são as minhas orelhas. Com o cabelo solto, o problema está resolvido, mas com o cabelo apanhado estão ali para todo o mundo as ver. No entanto, enquanto me estava a maquilhar neste dia, já com este outfit vestido e com o cabelo apanhado para não atrapalhar, gostei imenso de ver e acho que este outfit estava mesmo a pedir por um penteado diferente do habitual. Ainda soltei o cabelo, mas acabei por decidir experimentar e saí assim à rua. E sabem que mais? Senti-me lindamente! Porque às vezes sabe bem ultrapassar as nossas inseguranças, sejam elas quais forem. Não estou com isto a dizer que daqui em diante me vão ver muitas mais vezes de cabelo apanhado, continuo a sentir-me melhor com ele solto, mas vou, sem dúvida, arriscar mais. Digam-me, o que acham do outfit?

In all this years blogging, I think it's one of the few times that you see me with my hair up. I really never liked to see myself with my hair like this, we all have insecurities and mine (and it can sound really stupid) are my ears. With my hair down the problem is solved, but with my hair up they're right there for the whole world to see them. However, while I was doing my make-up already with this outfit on and with my hair up to not get on the way, I really liked to see it and this outfit was really asking for a hairstyle different from usual. I actually get my hair down, but I decided to give the ponytail a go and I got out like this. And you know what? I felt great! Because sometimes feels really good to overcome our insecurities, whatever they are. With this I'm not saying that you will see me on a ponytale all the time, I still feel better with my hair down, but I will definitely take more risks. So, do you like the outfit?

Mais uma 'week on film' e desta vez resolvi fazer de forma diferente. Decidi escrever a legenda das imagens nas próprias fotos. Que acham? Eu gosto imenso e sinto, que assim, posso ser muito mais criativa e experimentar mais com as fotos. Mas digam-me o que acham vocês. Esta semana foi a última antes de ir de viagem, por isso podem imaginar a quantidade de coisas que tinha para fazer (e ainda tenho), até porque quero deixar o blog actualizado enquanto estou para fora. Também devem ter reparado que o design do blog sofreu algumas alterações, bastante pequenas é certo, mas às vezes sabe bem renovar um pouco. Bem, espero que gostem das fotos e tenham um bom dia!

Another 'week on film' and this time I decided to do it differently. I decided to write the caption of the photos on the photos. What do you think? I really like it and this way I feel I can be way more creative and experiment more with the photos. But tell me what do you think about it. This was the last week before my trip, so you can imagine the amount of things I had to do (and still do), also because I want to leave the blog updated while I'm away.
