Com o mês a chegar ao fim, já sabem que é altura de partilhar a minha playlist mensal. A playlist de Fevereiro está carregada de músicas de adoro, a começar com a Hard Drive Gold dos Alt-J que adoro, aliás, ainda tenho de ouvir o novo álbum que, entretanto, já foi lançado. E ainda nas músicas novas, gostei também muito da nova música da Rosalía. Tenho também algumas músicas mais antigas que redescobri, mas podem ouvir tudo em baixo. Espero que gostem.

The month is coming to an end so it's time to share my monthly playlist. The February playlist is full of songs I love, starting with Hard Drive Gold by Alt-J that I love so much, actually, I have to listen to their new album that they just launched. And still, in the vibe of the new songs, I also love the new song by Rosalía. I also have some older songs that I rediscovered, but you can listen to everything down below as usual. No mês passado, não publiquei a minha monthly playlist porque, sinceramente, é um mês em que só ouço músicas de Natal, mas Janeiro está mesmo a chegar ao fim e, este mês, já me dediquei a construir uma playlist para mim e para vocês também, claro. Foi então isto que andei a ouvir. A Noga Erez foi uma descoberta que uma de vocês partilhou comigo neste mesmo post (obrigada Bea) e, desde então, que sou fã. Ela lançou um novo álbum com algumas músicas ao vivo e está mesmo brutal. Também a Marina (não podia faltar, eu sei) lançou uma versão deluxe do seu último álbum com algumas músicas novas e também gostei bastante. Mas, como sempre, podem ouvir tudo em baixo.


Last month, I didn't share my monthly playlist because I essentially listened to Christmas songs all month, but January is almost coming to an end and, this month, I finally built a playlist for me and also for you obviously. So this is what I've been listening to. Noga Erez was one of the best finds that one of you shared with me in one of these posts (thanks Bea), and since then I'm a huge fan. She launched a new album with some live songs, and it's amazing. Marina (I had to mention her) also launched a deluxe version of her latest album with some new songs, and I also really liked that. But, as always, you can listen to everything down below.




A playlist de Novembro este mês chega um pouco mais tarde, mas aqui está. Mais uma vez, está uma mistura de várias coisas. É engraçado como aquilo que fazemos nos nossos dias, podem influenciar a música que ouvimos. Com a minha ida a Paris, comecei a ouvir alguma música francesa. Comecei também a ver a série Bem Bom sobre a girlsband Doce e claro que também comecei a ouvir algumas das suas músicas. Mas podem ouvir tudo na playlist em baixo.

November's playlist is coming a bit later than usual but here it is. Once again, it's a mix of so many things. It's funny how what we do on our days can influence the music we listen to. I went to Paris at the beginning of the month, so I started listening to a bit o French music. I also started watching a TV show about a Portuguese girls band called Doce, so I also started listening to some of her songs. But you can listen to everything down below.


 


Mais uma playlist com a qual estou super contente. Acho que mostra perfeitamente aquilo que eu gosto de ouvir que, no fundo, é um pouco de tudo. Tem pop, tem rock, tem indie, tantas coisas diferentes. Como no mês anterior, continuo a ouvir bastante Marina, estou mesmo fã. Obviamente, também tinha de ter Lana del Rey e o seu mais recente álbum. Não é dos meus favoritos, mas têm músicas das quais gosto mesmo muito, a Dealer (que podem ouvir na playlist) acho mesmo que é uma das minhas favoritas de sempre. Em português, tenho andado a ouvir bastante Janeiro, vou a um concerto dele este mês (16 de Novembro no Porto e também vai ter um concerto em Lisboa) e tenho andado a conhecer o seu trabalho mais antigo. Podem ouvir tudo isto e muito mais na playlist.


Another playlist I'm very happy about. I think it perfectly showcases what I'm into which, basically, it's a bit of everything. It has pop, it has rock, it has indie, so many different things. Just like last month, I'm still very into Marina, I'm really a fan of her work. Obviously, it also had to have Lana del Rey and her latest album. It's not one of my favourites, but it has some very good songs like Dealer (which you can listen to in this playlist), I really think it's one of my favourites ever. In Portuguese, I've been listening to Janeiro a lot, I'm going to one of his shows this month and I've been listening to his previous work. E num piscar de olhos estamos em Outubro, mas vamos dar uma vista de olhos na minha playlist do mês passado. Resumindo, andei a ouvir Marina. Em Julho já tinha partilhado algumas músicas dela, porque gostei muito do seu álbum novo, mas comecei a ouvir trabalhos mais antigos e adoro o seu primeiro álbum, o The Family Jewels, não estou a mentir quando digo que o ando a ouvir sem parar. Nas pausas em que não ouço Marina, andei a ouvir a nova música dos Alt-J e da Lana Del Rey, duas músicas que adoro. E vocês, o que andaram a ouvir? 


And in a blink of an eye, we're in October. But we're going to take a look at the playlist I did for September first. Summing up, I listened to Marina. In July, I shared a few songs by here since I really liked her new album but now I dug into her oldest works and I love her first album, The Family Jewels, I'm not lying when I say it's all I've been listening to. When I have a break from Marina, I've been listening to the new songs by Alt-J and Lana Del Rey, songs I also love very much. And you, what have you been listening to?


 


Agosto está mesmo a chegar ao fim, por isso, como sempre, está na hora de partilhar com vocês a minha playlist do mês. Podem encontrar imensas músicas da Billie Eilish, isto porque adorei o novo álbum dela. Já era fã e os segundos álbuns às vezes podem ser complicados, mas ela arrasou. Podem encontrar as minhas músicas favoritas na playlist. Numa onda completamente diferente, gostei também do novo álbum da Iggy Azalea e uma banda que também acompanho há algum tempo e que tem um trabalho novo são os Skinner Brothers. Está muito all over the place esta playlist, mas é assim mesmo que eu gosto.


August is almost coming to an end so, as usual, it's time to share with you my monthly playlist. There are loads of Billie Eilish's songs because I loved her new album. I was already a fan, and sometimes second albums can be tricky, but she completely nailed it. You can listen to my favourite songs from the album on the playlist. On a completely different vibe, I also enjoyed Iggy Azalea's new album, and also a band that I've been following for a while and that has a new album are The Skinner Brothers. This playlist is all over the place, but that's how I like it.


 


O mês está quase quase a acabar, por isso, como já é costume, aqui está a minha playlist do mês. Tem algumas novidades e artistas que descobri recentemente como a Melissa Laveaux. Também tenho gostado bastante de algumas músicas da Marina, uma artista que não ouvia muito, mas gosto de certas músicas do seu novo álbum. The month is almost coming to an end so, as usual, here's my monthly playlist. I recently found some new artists that I've become a fan of like Melissa Laveaux. I also have been listening to a lot of Marina's songs, an artist I wasn't a major fan of, but I'm really digging the new album. I also have to mention the new song by Janeiro, so so beautiful. Há uns tempos vi um vídeo da Lizzy Hadfield (forever girl crush) onde ela falava sobre caminhar e a importância que esta atividade tem para ela (podem ver o vídeo AQUI). Parece um tema super irrelevante, mas, se pensarmos bem, caminhar pode ter sido a salvação para muitas pessoas durante os meses de confinamento. Para mim, foi. Estando reduzidos à nossa casa e a apenas poder sair para o dito "passeio higiénico", esses minutos ou horas ao ar livre foram o que ajudaram a manter a nossa saúde mental estável. E, mesmo agora que estamos um pouco mais livres, continuo a adorar os meus momentos a caminhar. Sendo o Porto uma cidade relativamente pequena, consigo deslocar-me para diversos sítios a pé e são momentos que realmente gosto muito. Sozinha, com os meus pensamentos (muitas das vezes é quando tenho ideias para temas aqui no blog) e com a minha música. 


A while ago, I watched a video by Lizzy Hadfield (forever girl crush) where she talked about walking and how this activity has a major impact on her life (you can watch the video HERE). It may sound like an irrelevant topic, but if you really think about it, walking might be what saved us during the lockdown. I know it saved me. Being locked in our houses, and only being able to leave to walk or exercise, those minutes outside really helped to maintain our mental health. And even now that we have a bit more freedom, I still walk a lot and love those moments. I live in a relatively small town, so I can walk everywhere, and I really love that time with myself. Just me, my thoughts (sometimes it's when I get ideas for blog posts), and my music.

Como eu gosto da playlist deste mês. Mesmo no início de Abril, a Noga Erez (a artista que mencionei na playlist anterior) lançou o seu álbum novo e adorei. Sinto que é algo mesmo inovador e bem diferente do que se tem feito ultimamente. Nesta playlist podem ouvir algumas das minhas músicas favoritas do álbum. Também continuo a ouvir o último álbum da Lana del Rey non stop e podem encontrar algumas das minhas favoritas nesta playlist também. Como sempre, tem também algumas músicas mais antigas e side note a música Ball and Biscuit dos White Stripes é, sem dúvida, uma das minhas músicas favoritas de sempre. Mas digam-me o que andam vocês a ouvir? Algo novo que eu deva conhecer?


I'm in love with this monthly playlist. Right at the beginning of April, Noga Erez (the artist I mentioned on the previous playlist) launched her new album, and I love it. I really feel like it's something completely new, and very different from the stuff people are doing right now. I'm still very into Lana del Rey's latest album, and you can find some of my favourite songs in the playlist. As always, you can also find some older songs and, side note, the music Ball and Biscuit by The White Stripes definitely is one of my favourite songs of all time. A playlist deste mês está dominada por mulheres, mas não estou de todo a queixar-me. A Lana Del Rey lançou o seu novo álbum e eu adorei. Acho que é mesmo dos seus melhores trabalhos ultimamente (não era a maior fã do Lust For Life e do Normal Fucking Rockwell). Nesta playlist podem ouvir algumas das minhas músicas favoritas do álbum. No entanto, a minha grande descoberta deste mês foi Noga Erez, uma recomendação de uma de vocês (obrigada Bea!) que fui ouvir e adorei (vai lançar no próximo mês um álbum novo e também estou muito curiosa). Estou bastante orgulhosa desta playlist, acho que é das melhores que já fiz, espero que gostem.


This monthly playlist is dominated by women, and I'm kind of happy about it. Lana Del Rey launched her new album, and I love it. I think it's one of her best works lately (I wasn't mad about Lust For Life and Norman Fucking Rockwell). On this playlist, you can listen to some of my favourite songs from the album. However, my discovery of the month was Noga Erez, a singer one of you recommended to me (thank's Bea!), and that I'm totally in love with (she's launchinging a new album next month, and I'm really curious about it). I'm very proud of this playlist, I think it's one of my bests yet, I hope you like it.

I've been listening to the new Foo Fighter's record that was launched this month, and I also really liked the new album by Arlo Parks. Well, well... primeira playlist do ano. Eu sei que a playlist do mês passado ficou em falta, mas basicamente ouvi músicas de Natal, por isso não havia muito o que partilhar com vocês. No entanto, novo ano, nova playlist e também muitas músicas novas. Gostei muito da nova música da Lana Del Rey (previsível, eu sei), gostei também muito da nova música dos Foo Fighters Waiting On A War (o novo álbum está quase a sair e pelas músicas que já lançaram vai ser brutal) e, um bocadinho diferente daquilo que costumo ouvir, gostei muito da nova música da Marina, Man's World. Well, well... the first playlist of the year. I know I didn't post a playlist last month, but I basically listened to Christmas' songs, so there wasn't much to share anyway. However, new year, new playlist, and also a bunch of new songs. I really liked Lana Del Rey's new song (predictable, I know), really loved Foo Fighter's Waiting on a War song (the new album is almost coming out and by the songs they already launched, it's going to be amazing), and a bit different from what I usually listen to, I really like Marina's new song Man's World. Com o mês de Dezembro a começar, está no hora de partilhar com vocês a minha playlist do mês de Novembro. Como devem saber, sou uma grande fã dos Foo Fighters e, além de terem anunciado um novo álbum, lançaram também uma nova música que é das minhas favoritas da banda (yep, está mesmo fantástica). December is starting, so it's time to share with you my November playlist. As you probably know, I'm a huge Foo Fighters' fan and, besides announcing a new album, they also launched a new song that it's probably one of my favourites by them (yep, it's that awesome). Also, Miley Cyrus launched her new album by the end of the month and on this playlist, you can listen to a few of my favourite songs. But, obviously, I have a lot more songs for you to listen to and if you want to be always up to date you can follow me on Spotify.




Hoje trago-vos umas playlists, mas ao contrário do habitual, estas playlist não são minhas. Algo bom do Spotify é descobrir diferentes pessoas e explorar as suas playlists. October has started so it was about time that I share with you my monthly playlist from last month. Some songs are a bit old, but there are a few new ones that I've been loving. Another month coming to an end, so here is my August playlist. Once again, it has a bunch of new songs. I found out Zella Day and I'm really into her music, her latest EP is amazing. I also really liked the news songs that Father John Misty and Billie Eilish launched. And on a completely different vibe, I also love the newest Miley Cyrus' song. It's very different from what I usually listen to, but her latest work has been amazing in my opinion. But what about you? What have you been listening to this month?



Acho que nunca tive uma playlist mensal assim com tantas músicas, mas este mês, além de ter andado a ouvir algumas músicas mais antigas, também descobri alguns artistas de que gosto muito. Quanto às músicas mais antigas, como vos disse, andei a ouvir imenso o álbum Monkey Business dos Black Eyed Peas. Também muitos artistas de que gosto lançaram novas músicas, como o James Blake ou como as Haim que lançaram todo um álbum. Mas podem descobrir tudo na playlist em baixo, espero que gostem.

I don't think I had ever shared such a large playlist with so many songs, but this month I've listened to a few old songs, and also found out new artists that I'm a fan of now. About the old songs. As I've already told you, I listened to the Black Eyed Peas' album Monkey Business a lot. Esta playlist não tem assim muita coisa nova, continuo na onda de ouvir músicas de já alguns anos atrás. Continuo a gostar muito do novo álbum do Harry Styles, acho-o muito Verão. E, não tendo muito em comum, também tenho ouvido bastante o álbum 'Wasting Light' dos Foo Fighters (o meu álbum favorito deles btw). Andei também a ouvir algumas das coisas que vocês me recomendaram, por isso, se tiverem mais sugestões, deixem nos comentários, adorava saber!

The month is coming to an end, so today I decided to share my June playlist. On this playlist there aren't many new songs, I'm still mainly listening to old stuff. I'm still very into the new Harry Styles' album, sounds very summery to me. And, even though there's nothing much in common, I've been listening to Foo Fighters' album Wasting List (my favourite by the band btw). I also listened to some songs that you recommended, so if you have more suggestions, leave them on the comments below, I would love to know!


Como já é habitual no fim do mês, hoje partilho a minha playlist de Maio. Os dias estiveram bastante quentes, por isso, esta foi a playlist que ouvi enquanto estava na praia ou no jardim, são músicas já a chamar pelo Verão. Há algumas novidades, entre elas algumas músicas do novo álbum do Janeiro, algumas também do novo álbum do Harry Styles e a nova música da Alison Mosshart, mas de resto são músicas já mais antigas. Ouvi também bastante o primeiro álbum dos The Dead Weather, mas não sei muito bem porquê, não está disponível no Spotify, mas a 'Treat Me Like Your Mother' e a '60 Feet Tall' foram as músicas que mais ouvi. As per usual by the end of the month, today I share with you my May's playlist. The days were very warm, so this is the playlist I have been listening to while I'm at the beach or the garden, these are songs that really call for summer. There are some new songs. I really liked the new album by Janeiro (a Portuguese artist), there are also a few songs from the newest Harry Style's album and the new song by Alison Mosshart, but all the other songs are older. I have also been listening to the first album by The Dead Weather, but for some reason is not available on Spotify, but 'Treat Me Like Your Mother' and '60 Feet Tall' were the songs I listened to the most.
