Ultimamente, tenho recebido imensas perguntas sobre as apps que tenho usado nas minhas Instagram Stories e, como tal, decidi fazer este post para esclarecer todas as vossas dúvidas. Vou partilhar com vocês todas as apps que uso, desde a app que deixa as fotos com um efeito analógico (isto se não forem mesmo analógicas), à app que uso para fazer colagens. Se por acaso tiverem mais alguma dúvida, deixem nos comentários.

Lately, I've been getting a lot of questions about the apps I use on my Instagram Stories, so I decided to write this post to answer all your questions. I'm going to share all the apps I use, from the one I use to get photos to look analogic (if in fact, they aren't analogue) to the app I use to make collages. Dazz Cam

Esta é a app que mais tenho usado ultimamente e também a app pela qual recebo mais perguntas. É com ela que consigo criar o efeito de fotografias analógicas nas minhas Instagram Stories. Têm vários tipos de câmaras que podem escolher (tanto para fotografar, como filmar) e é só escolher as vossas favoritas.

This is the app that I've been using the most lately, and also the one I get more questions about. With this app, I can achieve the analogue look in all my photos. You have a lot of cameras you can choose from (both to photograph with or to film), you just have to choose your favourites.




Unfold

Todas as colagens que faço é com o Unfold. A aplicação é grátis e tem alguns templates que também o são, no entanto, os meus favoritos são todos pagos, é o exemplo deste template que imita película de filme.

I use Unfold to all the collages I make. The app is for free, and there are a few templates that are free as well. However, my favourites are all paid, like this template that looks like film.

Antes de começar, deixem-me dizer-vos que este post não é publicidade. Decidi fazê-lo porque quando fui a Londres queria experimentar o Revolut e foi difícil para mim reunir informação e esclarecer algumas dúvidas, por isso este post é uma forma de vos ajudar se também quiserem usar esta aplicação. A aplicação conquistou-me por ser tão fácil de usar e, mesmo depois da viagem, continuo a usar por cá. Vamos então perceber o que é o Revolut.

First of all, let me do the following disclaimer, this isn't a sponsored post. I decided to do it because when I went to London I wanted to use Revolut and it's quite hard for me to gather all the info and get answers to all my questions so this is also a way to help you if you're thinking about using this app. I really loved this app because it's really easy to use and even after the trip, I'm still using it. So let's see what Revolut is all about.

What Is It?

Revolut é uma alternativa bancária que funciona através de uma app no vosso telemóvel. Em apenas alguns minutos, podem criar uma conta bancária através do vosso telemóvel e transferir dinheiro para esta nova conta muito facilmente. Apesar de todo o processo ser incrivelmente fácil, é tudo muito seguro.

Revolut is a digital banking alternative that works through a phone app. In just a few minutes you can open a bank account through your phone and transfer money to this new account very easily. As I said everything is really easy, but also very secure.

Why Is So Useful On Trips Abroad?

Os bancos cobram sempre várias taxas quando usas o teu cartão no estrangeiro. Uma das vezes que fui a Londres, tive de usar o meu cartão de débito e acabei por gastar uma quantidade absurda em taxas. Com o cartão Revolut podem dizer adeus a todas essas taxas. Também com este cartão, já não têm a necessidade de cambiar dinheiro se forem para um país em que a moeda não seja o euro. Através da app podem cambiar o vosso dinheiro sem vos ser aplicada qualquer taxa, coisa que nunca aconteceria se fossem às típicas lojas de câmbio de dinheiro. Podem também acompanhar todos os vossos gastos na app, o que é super útil enquanto viajam.

Banks will charge you when you spend money abroad. One of the times I went to London I had to use my debit card and ended up spending way much more money thank's to all the fees my bank applied. With Revolut you will not pay any extra fee. With Revolut you also don't have to exchange cash if you're going to a non-euro currency country. Through the app, you can exchange your money without being charged any commission, something that wouldn't happen if you go to those currency exchange shops. You can also see all your transactions through the app which is really useful while you travel.

The Card

Ao fazer a encomenda de um cartão físico, o dinheiro que têm na vossa conta é o dinheiro que fica disponível nesse mesmo cartão. Foi fantástico para usar na viagem a Londres, porque o dinheiro que me sobrou em libras, facilmente voltei a cambiar para euros e uso regularmente o cartão cá também. É um cartão MasterCard, contacless e demorou cerca de duas semanas a chegar, mas mal fazem a encomenda na app, dizem-vos logo a data de chegada. Se por alguma razão quiserem deixar de o usar, na aplicação podem congelá-lo e voltar a usar quando quiserem.

When you order a card, all the money you have on your account is the money available on the card. It was great to use on this trip to London, because all the pounds that I got left, I easily exchanged them again to euros and ended up using the card here in Portugal as well. It's a MasterCard card, contactless and it took around two weeks to arrive, but right new you order it you will get a date or arrival. If for some reason you want to stop using it, you can freeze it in the app and use it again whenever you want to.

Como sabem, hoje vou até Londres passar lá alguns dias, mas, como todas as viagens que faço, isso não significa que o blog vai ficar desactualizado. Já há algum tempo que mantenho a rotina de um post diário e, só porque não vou estar por casa, não significa que isso vá deixar de acontecer. Por isso, podem esperar novo post todos os dias como habitual. No entanto, lembrei-me de partilhar com vocês o que normalmente faço para conseguir isso, caso também vocês tenham um blog. Por isso, aqui vão algumas dicas para manterem o vosso blog actualizado enquanto estão fora.

As you know, today I'm heading to London to spend some days over there, but like all the trips I do that doesn't mean the blog is not going to be updated. It has been a while since I'm keeping this routine of a daily post and just because I'm not going to be home doesn't mean that will stop. So you can expect a daily post as usual. However, I remembered to share with you what I usually do to achieve this, in case you also have a blog. So here are a few tips on how to keep your blog running while you're away.

SCHEDULE POSTS

Esta é a minha dica número um: agenda posts. Apesar de estares a criar conteúdo na tua viagem, também sabe bem desligar um bocadinho. Fotografa com antecedência e deixa todos os posts prontos para os dias em que vais estar fora. Só esta semana deixei cinco posts agendados, deu imenso trabalho, mas não é impossível.

This is definitely my number one tip: schedule posts. Although you're still creating content while you're travelling, it's a good way to shut off a bit. So shoot in advance and leave all the posts you want to go live scheduled. Just for your information, this week I have five blog posts scheduled so it's a lot of work, but it's not impossible.

INSTA STORIES

Claro que não é o mesmo que um post no blog, mas as Insta Stories são uma excelente forma de manter os teus seguidores actualizados. São fáceis de fazer e os teus seguidores ficam a saber o que andas a fazer. Mostra-lhes os sítios que visitas, os sítios onde vais comer, fá-los sentir como se estivessem a viajar contigo.

I know it's not the same as blogging, but Insta Stories are the perfect way to keep your followers updated. They're easy to do and your followers can see what are you up to. Show them your day, what are you visiting, where are you eating, make them feel like they're travelling with you.

ASK FOR GUEST POSTS

Porque não pedir a um outro blogger para ser teu convidado no teu blog? Isto é algo que nunca fiz antes, mas pode ser bastante interessante. Os teus seguidores ganham um diferente ponto de vista e ficam a conhecer outros talentosos bloggers. Claro, garante que o blogger convidado se alinha com a tua estética e com a forma como escreves, afinal de contas os teus leitores seguem-te por alguma razão.

Why not ask another blogger to be a guest on your own blog? I've never done this before, but it can be quite interesting. Your followers gain a different point of view and get to know some other talented bloggers. Of course, make sure the blogger you're working with goes along with your aesthetic and writing, after all your followers follow you for some reason.

No que toca a insta stories, não sou a melhor em mantê-las actualizadas. Mas adoro ver as das pessoas que sigo e acho uma excelente forma de comunicar de uma forma mais directa com os nossos seguidores. Para mim, será sempre uma ferramenta para complementar o blog e, por isso, ando sempre à procura das melhores apps para editar as minhas insta stories. Finalmente encontrei algumas que realmente gosto e hoje vou partilhá-las com vocês.

When it comes to insta stores, I am not the best to update them. But I love to see the ones from the people I follow and I think it's a great way to communicate with your followers in a more direct way. To me, it will always be a tool to complement the blog and that's why I'm always on the hunt for the best apps to edit my insta stories. I finally found some that I really like and today I'm going to share them with you.

UNFOLD
Esta é, provavelemente, a que mais uso. Além de ter imensos layouts gratuitos que tanto podem ser usados com vídeos ou fotos, tem um pack com molduras em estilo de filme que eu adoro. Tenho a certeza que sabem o que estou a falar e, além de usar para as stories, às vezes uso mesmo no meu feed (às vezes até aqui no blog, só para verem o quanto eu gosto deste pack). 
This is probably the app I use the most. Besides having loads of free layouts that you can use for photos and videos, they also have a pack with film style frames that I love. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about and I like it so much that sometimes I use it on the feed (and other times, even on the blog).

RECORD IT!
Já alguma vez viram aquelas stories em que o ecrã do telemóvel está a ser filmado e se perguntaram como é possível fazer isso? Esta app é a resposta. Com o Record It! basta abrir a aplicação e o vosso ecrã é filmado.
Have you ever seen those stories in which the phone screen has been recorded and wonder how the hell is that done? Well, this app is the answer. With Record It! you just have to open the app and your screen is recorded.

HUJI
Esta app é apenas restrita a fotos e também vos dá aquele ar de fotos em filme. Não tem tanto a ver com a edição, mas é uma app que adoro usar para as instagram stories. Em vez de usaram a câmara do vosso telemóvel, abrem esta app, tiram a foto e ficam com uma foto em estilo de filme.
This photo is only for photos and it also gives you that film photo vibe. It's not really about editing, but it's an app that I love to use for Instagram stories. Instead of using the camera of your phone, you open this app, take the photo and then you get a film style photo.

Talvez de todas as categorias que tenho aqui no blog, a 'travel' é a que é menos actualizada, pelo menos não tantas vezes quantas as eu gostaria. No entanto, apesar de não passar os meus dias a visitar cidades novas, o Porto é uma cidade que eu adoro explorar e, por isso, porque não partilhar com vocês alguns dos meus sítios favoritos? Talvez algum de vocês esteja a pensar visitar (eu aconcelho muito!!!) e assim ficam com algumas dicas. Podem sempre descobrir restaraurantes e cafés na categoria 'Where To Eat', mas hoje vou-vos mostrar os meus miradouros/ sítios com vistas lindíssimas que valem a pena visitar.

Maybe from all the categories in the blog, the one I don't update as much is 'travel', at least I don't update it as much as I would like. However, since I don't spend my days visiting other cities, Porto is a city that I love to explore so why not share with you some of my favourite places? Maybe one of you are thinking about visiting it (I really recommend it!!!) and this way you get some tips. For restaurants and cafes you can always check out the 'Where To Eat' category, but today I'm going to tell you some of my favourite viewpoints/ places with some amazing views that really are worth visiting. 

1. Jardins do Palácio de Cristal
Sim, são jardins, mas tem recantos com vistas incríveis. Além disso, os jardins também são muito bonitos e vale a pena dar uma volta por lá.
Yeap, these are gardens, but it has different spots with amazing views. Besides that, the actual gardens are really worth to see and to stroll around.
2. Ribeira
Toda a Ribeira é uma zona super turística, mas eu adoro a vista que tem para Gaia e para a ponte D.Luís. As fotos deste post foram tiradas lá e é sempre um sítio lindíssimo.
Ribeira is a very touristy place, but I love the view it has to Gaia and to the D.Luís bridge. The photos from this post were taken there and it's always a gorgeous place.
3. Miradouro da Serra do Pilar
O miradouro da Serra do Pilar fica em Gaia, mas isso também é sinónimo de ter uma vista priviligiada para o Porto. Para lá chegar têm de subir uma colina bem a pique, mas garanto-vos que a vista vale muito a pena. 
The Serra do Pilar viewpoint is in Gaia, but that also means you have an amazing view to Porto. To get there you have to go through a very steep hill, but I guarantee you that it really is worth the climb.
4. Passeio das Virtudes
As Virtudes são uma excelente sítio para ver o pôr-do-sol com uma vista lindíssima para o rio Douro. É um sítio super agradável para passar um fim de tarde.
Virtudes are an amazing place to see the sunset with a gorgeous view to Douro river. It's a very nice place to spend the end of the afternoon.
5. Miradouro da Vitória
Talvez não seja tão conhecido como os sposts anteriores, mas a vista é igualmente incrível. Além da vista para o rio, ainda conseguem ver alguns dos principais monumentos do Porto. 
Maybe this one is the least known, but the view is equally breathtaking. Besides the view to the river, you can also see some of the main Porto's monuments.

Já partilhei com vocês diversas vezes como edito as minhas fotos do instagram, mas nunca vos mostrei como edito as minhas fotos aqui para o blog. Não posso dizer que seja uma pró, o meu processo é bastante simples, mas ao longo dos anos tenho aprendido imenso e cada vez gosto mais de editar as fotos. O editor que uso é o Photoshop e é lá que faço todas as alterações que quero nas fotos. É então assim que edito as minhas fotos.

I already shared with you several times how I edit my Instagram photos, but I've never shown you how I edit the photos for the blog. I can't tell you that I am a pro, my process is quite simple, but along the years I've been learning a lot and I enjoy editing photos more and more. The editor I use is Photoshop and it's where I do all the changes I want in the photos. So here's how I edit my photos.


Como podem ver, as alterações não são assim muitas, mas dá para notar a diferença. Claro que o processo varia de foto para foto, mas neste caso o que fiz foi o seguinte: diminuí a luminosidade, aumentei o contraste, aumentei a saturação, aumentei a saturação dos vermelhos e tornei o preto mais forte.
As you can see there are not a lot of things that I change, but you can notice the difference. Of course, this changes from photo to photo, but here is what I did: brought exposure down, brought contrast up, brought saturation up, brought the saturation of colour red up and made black even more black.

Desde a primeira vez a que fui a uma festival, ao Marés Vivas em Gaia, em 2013 (damn, como o tempo passa a voar), que tenho ido a, pelo menos, um festival todos os Verões. Como tal, acho que já vos posso dar algumas dicas para sobreviveram a um festival, especialmente se forem acampar. Este é o vosso kit de festival, com tudo aquilo que possam precisar e mais algumas dicas que vos podem ser muito úteis. Mas digam-me também as vossas dicas, afinal de contas, estamos sempre a aprender!

Since the first time I went to a music festival, Marés Vivas in Gaia in 2013 (damn, how time flies) that I've been going to a music festival every Summer. So I think I can already give you some tips to survive a music festival, especially if you're camping. This is your music festival survival kit with everything you might need and some other tips that can help you a lot. But also tell me your tips, after all we're always learning!

WHAT TO TAKE IF YOU'RE CAMPING

WARM LAYERS. À noite pode ficar bastante frio, por isso, além de uma saco de cama quente, leva mais camadas de roupa. Acredita, ter frio enquanto estão a acampar não é nada agradável e falo por experiência própria.
At night it can get quite cold, so besides taking a warm sleeping bag, take more layers of clothing. Believe me, being cold while you're camping is definitely not pleasant and I speak by my own experience.

INFLATABLE PILLOW. Desde que descobri as almofadas insufláveis que levo sempre uma comigo. São super confortáveis na mesma e não ocupam tanto espaço na mala.
Since I found out about inflatable pillows I always take one with me. It's super comfortable as well and it doesn't take as much space from the bag.

FOOTWEAR. Além do calçado que levas para o festival, não te esqueças de levar algum tipo de chinelos para quando fores tomar banho ou até mesmo para ir á piscina se houver no parque de campismo.
Besides the footwear you take to the festival, don't forget to take some kind of slippers for when you go take a shower or even to go to the pool if the campsite has one.

BABY WIPES. Toalhitas podem ser bastante úteis para diversas situações. Leva na tua mala e vais ver que as vais acabar por usar para alguma situação.
Baby wipes can be very useful for several situations. Take them on your bag and you'll see you'll use them at same point.

WHAT TO TAKE TO THE FESTIVAL

BAG. Primeiro precisas de uma mala para levar tudo aquilo que vais precisar. As fanny packs são agora uma grande tendência, mas, sinceramente, prefiro usar uma mochila onde caiba muito mais coisas.
First thing you need a bag to take everything you need. Fanny packs are a big trend right now, but honesly I rather take a backpack that fits way more stuff.

WATER. Sim, eu sei que em muitos festivais não te deixam entrar com água, mas é muito importante andares sempre com uma garrafa de água. Se não conseguires levar uma, podes sempre comprar no recinto.
Yes, I know that at a lot of music festival they don't let you in with water, but it's very important to always have a bottle of water with you. If you can't go with one, you can always buy one at the festival.

SUNSCREEN. É provável que vás estar bastantes horas ao Sol, por isso usa sempre protector solar e leva-o na mala para ir aplicando de novo durante o dia.
It's very likely that you're going to be a lot of hours under the Sun, so always wear sunscreen and take it on your bag so you can re apply it during the day.

 SOME OTHER TIPS

Leva calçado confortável para o festival. Já vos disse, mas botas são para mim mesmo o calçado ideal. São confortáveis, ficam bem com qualquer outfit e em caso de chuva protegem mais.
Always take comfortable footwear to the festival. I already told you, but boots are to me the perfect footwear. They're comfortable, look good with any outfit and they protect you from the rain.

Leva champô seco. É um produto que levo sempre comigo e o melhor amigo do meu cabelo. Dá sempre outro ar ao cabelo e pareces como nova.
Take dry shampoo. It's a product that I always take with me and my hair's best friend. It always gives more life to your hair and you look like new.

Leva toalhitas próprias para remover maquilhagem. Claro que não é a melhor opção para a tua pele, mas ninguém tem paciência para fazer uma skincare routine completa depois de chegar cansada do festival e é sempre melhor remover a maquilhagem com toalhitas do que dormir com ela.
Take makeup removing wipes. Of course it's not the best option for your skin, but no one will have a full skincare routine when arriving tired from the music festival and it's always better to remove your makeup with wipes than sleeping with it.

Das perguntas que mais recebo diariamente, é a forma como edito as minhas fotos para o instagram ou que filtro uso. Se forem como eu, então gostam de ter um feed coeso e dentro dos mesmo tons. Quando alguém entra pela primeira vez no vosso perfil de instagram, é o vosso feed que vão ver e, se for visualmente bonito, é o primeiro passo para essa pessoa vos começar a seguir. Estão então aqui algumas dicas para vos ajudar com isso!

The question that I get the most on a daily basics is how I edit my instagram photos and which filters I use. If you're like me, then you like to have a perfect feed and on the same tones. When someone gets into your instagram for the first time, they're going to see your feed and if it's visually appealing, it's the first step for that person to start following you. So here are some tips to help you with that!

STICK TO THE SAME COLORS
As cores predominantes do meu feed são o preto e o branco, de vez em quando há mais alguma cor, mas essas cores são o que há sempre em comum entre as fotos. Portanto, descobre que cores/tons queres usar no teu feed e mantém-nas em todas as fotos. Talvez queiras um feed super colorido, ou então algo mais clean , o importante é manteres as cores coesas.
The main colors on my feed are black and white, sometimes I add a bit of color, but those colors are always something that the photos have in common. So, find the colors/tones you want to use on your feed and stick to them. Maybe you want a super colorful theme or maybe something a bit cleaner, the important thing is to keep those colors cohesive.

 KNOW WHAT YOU WILL BE FOCUSING ON
Quando alguém vem ao meu perfil, sabe que o que mais vai encontrar são fotos de outfits ou fotos relacionadas com moda. É essa, de certa forma, a categoria em que o meu instagram se insere. Descubre essa "categoria" e publica esse tipo de fotos.
When someone comes to my feed, they know they will find photos of my outfits and fashion related photos. That kind is the category of my instagram. Find that "category" for yourself and post that kind of photos.

USE THE SAME FILTER
Uma forma simples de manter as vossas fotos coesas é editar as fotos da mesma forma e usar o mesmo filtro. Para quem me pergunta, eu uso o VSCO Cam e o filtro J5, o que me ajuda a manter as fotos com um ar mais minimalista. 
A simple way to keep your photos cohesive is to edit them the same way and use the same filter. For the ones asking, I use VSCO Cam and the filter J5 which helps me to keep my photos with a more minimalistic vibe.

Viver como um local pode ser bastante difícil quando visitamos uma cidade pela primeira vez, porque, vamos ser honestos, de certeza que queres fazer todas as típicas coisas turísticas. Mas há pequenas coisas que podes fazer que te vão fazer sentir como um local, porque para mim é realmente a melhor forma de experienciar uma cidade e de sentir a sua vibe. Por isso aqui estão três dicas que te vão fazer sentir como um local.

Living like a local can be quite hard when you're travelling to a city for the first time, because you sure want to do all the touristy things. But there's small things you can do to really make you feel like a local, because honestly to me that's the best way to experience a city and really feel its vibe. So here are three tips that will really make you feel like a local.

TAKE THE SUBWAY
Sempre que viajo, adoro andar nos transportes públicos. Especialmente o metro é um sítio onde se encontram tantas pessoas e o transporte que a maior parte dos locais usam, por isso é uma excelente forma de te fazer sentir que pertences à cidade. 
Everytime I travel, I really like to take the public transportation. Especially the subway it's a place where you find a lot of people and the transportation that most locals use, so it's a really nice way to make you feel that you belong in that city.

STAY AT AN AIRBNB 
Claro que os hotéis são fantásticos, mas alugar um apartamento no Airbnb é uma excelente forma de te fazer sentir que realmente estás em casa. 
Of course hotels are great, but renting a flat at Airbnb it's an amazing way to make you feel that you are at home.

SPEAK THE LANGUAGE  
Esta é mais fácil quando viajamos para sítios onde falam inglês, mas mesmo que não seja o vosso caso, tentem aprender pequenas frases que usam no dia-a-dia e falem com os locais. Até mesmo quando precisam de indicações, façam-no também em vez de usar os vossos telemóveis. 
This one is easier if you're travelling to a city where english is the language, but try learning some small phrases that you use daily to speak with locals. Even when you need some directions, do it instead of using your phone.

Já vos tinha feito um post a explicar tudo, mas entretanto a forma como edito as fotos também mudou, por isso decidi fazer um post actualizado, a contar-vos todos os segredos por detrás do meu instagram feed. SNAPSEED
Depois de escolher a fotografia que quero editar, a primeira app que utilizo é o Snapseed. É uma app gratuita e onde podem fazer bastantes ajustes nas vossas fotos. Como a base do meu tema de instagram é o preto e branco, com esta aplicação tiro sempre a saturação das cores que sejam mais fortes com a ferramenta pincel e com a ferramenta selectiva dou sempre mais luminosidade ao branco.
After choosing the photo I want to edit, the first app I use is Snapseed. It's a free app where you can ajust a lot of things in your photos. Since my theme is basically black and white with this app I always take the saturation down at some stronger colors with the brush tool and with the selective tool I always give more light to white.

VSCO CAM
Depois do Snapseed, passo a foto para o VSCO onde aplico o meu filtro, o J5. Nunca o deixo na sua totalidade, sempre entre o 6 e o 9, conforme a foto. Nesta app também faço alguns ajustes na luminosidade, contraste e aumento sempre a temperatura. Nalgumas fotos também gosto de adicionar grão.
After Snapseed, I take the photo to VSCO where I apply my filter, the J5. I never leave it all the way, always between 6 and 9, it depends on the photo. On this app I also do some adjustments on the light, contrast and I always bring the temperature up. On some photos I also like to add some grain.
   
UNUM
Esta app já não tem tanto a ver com a edição, mas é com o UNUM que consigo ver se as fotos que publico fiquem bem umas com as outras de forma a ter um feed harmonioso. Basicamente, com esta app podem fazer o upload da vossa foto e ver se fica bem com o restante feed. 
This app is not about edition, but it's with UNUM that I can see if the photos I post look good with the other ones in order to get a harmonious feed. Basically with this app you can upload your photo and see if it looks good in your feed. 

Sexta-feira vou até Itália como já vos disse e claro que os preparativos para a viagem já começaram. Há sempre milhões de coisas para fazer antes de ir de viagem e fazer a mala é sempre uma parte que ocupa muito tempo. Há que pensar no que levar, mas sempre pensando no espaço que temos na mala. Nos últimos tempos tenho conseguido fazer isso sem qualquer problema, por isso aqui estão algumas dicas para vos ajudar na hora de fazer a mala, caso também estejam a pensar viajar brevemente.

As I already told you, Friday I'm going to Italy and of course the preparations for the trip have already begun. There's always million things to do before a trip and packing is always something that takes a lot of time. You have to think what you want to take with you, but always thinking about the space you have in your suitcase. Lately I feel I have mastered the art of packing quite well so today I have some tips for you in case you're going on a trip soon.

PLAN YOUR OUTFITS
Sei que há muitas pessoas que preferem levar as suas roupas preferidas na mala e depois escolhem o que usar à medida que vão precisando. É uma hipótese, mas correm o risco de levar mais coisas do que o necessário. Por isso prefiro sempre levar os outfits escolhidos para cada dia. Escolho os outfits, experimento tudo e tiro uma fotografia com o telemóvel para saber exactamente o que tenho de arrumar.
I know that some people prefer to take all of their favourite clothes in their suitcase and then they pick what to wear as they need. It's a way to do it, but you may end up taking more things that you actually need. So I always choose my outfits in advance and pick one for each day. I pick the outfit, I try everything on and then take a picture with my phone to know exactly what to pack.

CUT DOWN THE EXCESS
Se forem como eu, querem levar com vocês vários pares de óculos de sol, vários casacos e até mesmo vários pares de sapatos para poder variar ao longo dos dias. A verdade é que só precisam realmente de um par de óculos de sol e talvez até mesmo só dois casacos. Por isso, cortem nos excessos e levem peças que sejam versáteis e fiquem bem com várias coisas.
If you're like me, you want to take several pairs of sunglasses, different coats and even different shoes so you can wear a different pair each day. The truth is that you only need one pair of sunglasses and maybe only two coats. So cut down the excess and take pieces with you that are versatile and that look good with anything.

GO TRAVEL SIZE
No que toca a produtos de pele e maquilhagem, sempre que possível leva o travel size desse mesmo produto, que é sempre mais pequeno que o original e assim ocupas menos espaço. Se não quiseres comprar o travel size, podes sempre comprar umas embalagens pequenas próprias para viagem (encontras por exemplo na Primark) e basta trocares de uma embalagem para outra.
When it comes to skincare products and makeup, always take the travel size of that product, it's always small and this way you save loads of space. If you don't want to buy the travel size you can buy a travel size bottle (you can easily find it at Primark) and you just have to take it from one bottle to the other.

Fazer posts todos os dias pode ser complicado, estar constantemente à procura de novas ideias e de inspiração é uma das grandes tarefas deste trabalho. É normal às vezes bloquear e não saber o que escrever, mas a inspiração acaba sempre por voltar. Mas há algumas coisas que me têm ajudado neste últimos anos a criar conteúdo diariamente e hoje vou partilhar com vocês.

To do posts everyday can be tricky, always be looking for new ideas and inspiration is one of the main tasks of this job. It's normal if you're having a writers block and don't know what to write about, but inspiration always comes back. But there are a few things that have been helping me to create daily content and today I'm going to share them with you.

Se publicam todos os dias no vosso blog, é muito importante manterem o vosso conteúdo organizado, isto é, saber o que vão publicar em cada dia. Sempre que tenho tempo livre é isso mesmo que faço e uso o site Trello como um género de calendário. 
If you post everyday in your blog, it's very important to keep your content organized, I mean, you have to know what you're going to post in each day. Everytime I have some free time that's what I do and I use the website Trello to do a schedule. 

- READ MAGAZINES AND OTHER BLOGS -
Uma coisa que me acontece bastante, é ler um artigo numa revista e a partir desse mesmo artigo ter uma ideia para um post aqui para o blog, às vezes só uma frase faz um 'click' e as ideias começam a surgir. Não estou a dizer com isto para copiarem o artigo que leram e o voltarem a escrever, usem-no apenas como forma de inspiração.
One thing that happens to me a lot is reading an article in a magazine and from there I get an idea for a post for the blog, sometimes only a quote can spark an idea. With this I'm not telling you to copy and rewrite the article, just use it as a form of inspiration.

Muitas das fotos que publico no instagram são outfits, mas se há fotos que também gosto de partilhar são flatlays e, depois de partilhar com vocês algumas dicas para tirar a foto de outfit perfeita para o instagram (podem ver AQUI), hoje tenho para vocês algumas dicas para conseguirem uma flatlay bonita e harmoniosa. Não que eu seja uma especialista no que toca a flatlays, mas ao longo do tempo tenho aplicado alguns truques e acho que resultam sempre, por isso aqui vão eles!

 A lot of photos I post over on my instagram are mainly outfits, but if there are photos that I really like to post too are flaylays and after sharing with you some tips to take the perfect outfit photo for instagram (you can read it HERE), now it's time to share with you some tips to get a beautiful and harmonious flatlay. Not that I think I'm an expert when it comes to flatlays, but I've been applying some tricks for quite a while and I think they really work, so here they go!

 - BACKGROUND -
Quando fotografo flatlays, gosto sempre de usar um fundo simples e neutro para os objectos se destacarem, normalmente preto ou branco. Se não tiverem nada assim por casa comprem cartolinas nessas cores (é o meu truque btw).
When I shoot flatlay photos I always like to use simple and neutral backgrounds so the objects stand out, usually black or white. If you don't have anything like this at home just buy some cardboards on those colors (it's my trick btw).

 - PLAY AROUND WITH YOUR OBJECTS -
Aqui não há uma regra, mas vai experimentando e arranjando os objectos que queres incluir na foto de diferentes formas e vai tirando várias fotos, practise makes perfect!
Here there's not a rule, but play around with the objects you want to include in the photo and rearrange them in different ways and take several photos, practise makes perfect!

- KEEP YOUR PHONE STRAIGHT -
Como o nome destas fotos indicam, tudo tem de estar flat, por isso é muito importante que mantenhas o telemóvel direito enquanto tiras a foto e sempre de cima.
As the name says in this photos everything has to be flat, so it's very important that you keep your phone straight while you take the photos and always shoot from above.
 

Hoje em dia já ninguém vive sem o instagram e, bloggers ou não, tenho a certeza que muitas das fotos que publicam são os vossos #ootds. Eu sou dessas pessoas e há alguns truques que fui aprendendo e que hoje vou partilhar com vocês. São estão cinco dicas para fotografar os vossos outfits para o instagram, tudo truques que aplico sempre que estou a fotografar.

Nowadays nobody can live without instagram and either you're a blogger or not I'm sure that a lot of the photos you post are your #ootds. I'm one of those people and there are a few tips and tricks that I've been learning and that today I'm going to share with you. So here are five tips to shoot your outfits for instagram, all tricks that I applied everytime I'm shooting.

 - SUNGLASSES -
Esta é talvez a dica mais fácil de aplicar, mas sem dúvida que resulta. E é ela: usar óculos de sol. Imaginem a quantidade de fotos que conseguem aproveitar só porque os estão a usar, porque mesmo que tenham ficado de olhos fechados numa foto, não se vê. E claro, também fazem parte do outfit.
This is probably the easiest tip to apply, but it really works. And it is to wear sunglasses. Just imagine the amount of photos you can actually use just because you're wearing sunglasses, because even if your eyes are closed in some photos, you can't see it. And of course, they're part of the outfit as well.

- NATURAL LIGHT - 
Não há nada mais importante numa foto que a luz. Fotografem sempre com luz natural e, se estiver um dia de Sol, o melhor é mesmo fotografar à sombra. Assim não ficam com sombras e contrastes esquisitos na foto e o outfit sobressai.
There's nothing more important in a photo than light. Always shoot with natural light and if there is a sunny day the best thing is to shoot in the shadow. This way you don't get weird shadows and contrasts and the outfit really stands out.

- SHOOT FROM BELOW - 
Peçam sempre a quem vos está a fotografar para fotografar de um ângulo mais baixo relativamente a vocês. É uma excelente forma de parecerem mais altos nas fotografias. Olhem que resulta, muita gente já pensou que sou bem mais alta do que sou na realidade.
Always ask the person who's shooting you to shoot from a lower angle. It's an amazing way to make you look taller and leaner on the photos. And it really looks, a lot of people thought that I'm way taller than what I actually am.

- SIMPLE BACKGROUND -
Outra forma de fazerem o vosso outfit destacar-se na foto é escolherem um background simples. Edifícios normalmente são excelentes para isso, mas procurem sempre sítios que não adicionem muito ruído à vossa foto.
Another way to make your outfit stand out is to choose a simple background. Buildings are usually great for that, but always look for places that won't add too much noise to your photo.

- TAKE LOADS OF PHOTOS - 
Tirem muitas fotos, quantas mais tirarem, mais têm por onde escolher. Experimentem poses diferentes e talvez até algumas com movimento, fotos a andar são normalmente as minhas preferidas.
Take loads of photos, the more you take, the more you have to choose from. Try different poses and maybe even some movement shots, photos where I'm walking are usually my favourites.

Julho é o mês dos festivais e, como sabem, hoje já estou por Lisboa para ir ao NOS Alive. Já é a minha terceira vez por cá e não há Verão em que não vá a nenhum festival, por isso hoje decidi partilhar com vocês 5 dicas para aproveitarem ao máximo os festivais de Verão!

1. Protege-te do Sol: É provável que passes bastantes horas ao Sol, por isso é muito importante que uses protector solar, óculos de Sol e até mesmo chapéu
2. Hidrata-te: Parece fácil de lembrar, mas muitas vezes nem te lembras de beber água. Leva uma garrafa de água e enche sempre que puderes
3. Usa roupa confortável: Ninguém quer estar desconfortável, por isso leva sapatos rasos (botas ou sapatilhas) e roupa em que te sintas bem
4. Leva uma power bank: Pode ser bastante difícil carregares o telemóvel, por isso leva uma power bank para carregares sempre que precisares
5. Vê bandas que não conheces: Todos temos aquelas bandas que queremos mesmo ver, mas assiste também a bandas que não conheces, muitas das minhas bandas preferidas, conheci em festivais

July is the month of festivals here in Portugal and as you know right now I'm in Lisbon to go to NOS Alive. It's already my third time here and there's no Summer without music festivals, so today I decided to share with you 5 tips to make the most out of a music festival!

1. Protect from the Sun: You're probably going to spend some hours under the Sun, so it's very important to use sunscreen, sunglasses and even a hat
2. Hydrate: It sounds very easy to remember, but sometimes you don't even remember to drink water. Bring a bottle of water and fill it up as often as possible
3. Wear comfortable clothes: No one wants be be uncomfortable, so bring flat shoes (sneakers or boots) and clothes that make you feel good
4. Take a power bank: It can be quite hard to charge you phone, so take a power bank with you so you can charge your phone when you have to
5. Watch bands you don't know: We all have those bands that we really want to see, but go watch bands you don't know, I met some of my favourite bands at music festivals

Encontrar o modelo perfeito de Levis vintage não é fácil e falo por experiência própria, mas com algumas dicas torna-se tudo mais fácil e é isso mesmo que eu vou partilhar com vocês hoje! 

1. Vai já com um modelo em mente: Procurar em lojas vintage pode ser bastante difícil, por isso se já souberes qual o modelo que queres e que te fica melhor, vai ser mais fácil de encontrares o par perfeito
2. Sabe as tuas medidas: Já sabem que a Levis tem uma tabela de tamanhos diferente do habitual, por isso o ideal é fazeres todas as medidas antes, podes encontrar o teu tamanho AQUI. Mas atenção, os modelos vintage são normalmente mais pequenos, por isso é normal que tenhas de subir alguns tamanhos
3. Experimenta jeans de homem: Não tenhas medo de experimentar os jeans de homem, a maior parte das vezes até ficam melhor que os de mulher
4. Não te preocupes com o comprimento: Se as calças forem muito compridas, não te preocupes, podes cortá-las tu mesmo e até ficam com um ar mais moderno

Finding the perfect model of vintage Levis is not an easy task and I know what I'm talking about, but with some tips it can be way easier and that's what I'm going to share with you today!

1. Go with a fit in mind: Looking for something in vintage stores can be quite hard, so if you already know the fit you're looking for and that looks better on you it will be easier to find the perfect jeans
2. Know your size: You already know that Levis' sizing is a bit different from usual, so you should measure you, you can find you size HERE. But keep in mind that vintage fits are usual smaller, so you're probably going to have to go up some sizes
3. Try men's jeans: Don't be afraid to try on some men's jeans, they usual look better than the women's jeans 
4. Don't mind the lenght: If the jeans are too long don't worry about it, you can cut them yourself and they get a more modern touch

Nowadays we bring our phones everywhere and there are some apps that make our lives way easier and so today I decided to share with you five of my favourites. About photo edition that are two apps that I just can't live without anymore, Snapseed (to edit) and Unum (to organize the feed). Another app that I use everyday is Bloglovin' to check all of my favourite blogs. I also can't live without Spotify to listen to some music. Já sabem que gosto muito de partilhar os meus outfits pelo instagram, mas outras fotos que também gosto muito de tirar são flatlays e por isso hoje decidi partilhar com vocês três dicas que vão tornar as vossas fotos flatlay muito mais bonitas e harmoniosas. A primeira dica é usar um fundo bem simples e neutro, eu costumo usar ou uma mesa preta ou então uma cartolina branca que comprei mesmo para este tipo de fotos. A segunda dica é organizarem os vossos objectos de diferentes formas até encontrarem uma com a qual estão satisfeitos. Por último, fotografa sempre de cima e com o telemóvel o mais plano possível. You know that I really like to share my outfits on instagram, but other photos that I really enjoy taking as well are flatlays, so today I decided to share with you three tips that will make your flatlay photos way more beautiful and harmonious.
