Bom dia! Hoje estou pela aldeia a celebrar o Natal com a minha família, mas não queria deixar de fazer post hoje. Por isso, aqui estão algumas fotos que fui tirando com o meu telemóvel durante esta semana. Descobri dois novos cafés no Porto e fiquei fã dos dois, tenho de voltar e tirar algumas fotos com a câmara para vos mostrar tudo. Espero que gostem das fotos e, mais uma vez, feliz Natal!

Good morning! I'm on the countryside today celebrating Christmas with my family, but I really wanted to make a post today. So here are some photos I took during this last week with my phone. I found two new cafés here in Porto and I became a fan of both, I really have to go back and shoot some photos with my camera to show you everything. Como sabem estou a tentar dar mais cor ao meu closet e se há uma peça de roupa que eu tenho apenas em tons neutros são malhas. Todas as minhas malhas são ou pretas, cinzas, brancas ou nude. E claro que gosto de todas elas, mas há dias em que queremos mudar um bocadinho e usar cor (sim, agora tenho dias em que me apetece usar cor!). Por isso, numa ida à Primark comprei uma malha vermelha e esta super cor-de-rosa. Esta cor é, sem dúvida, uma grande mudança para mim, não tinha nada cor-de-rosa no armário, mas quando a vi na loja, gostei imenso dela. Por isso, agora no meio de todas as malhas de cor neutra que tenho, tenho esta super cor-de-rosa a fazer um grande contraste! 

As you know I'm trying to add more color to my closet and if there's a piece of clothing that I only have in neutral colors are knit sweaters. All my knit sweaters are or black, grey, white or nude. And of course I love them all, but there are days when I feel like changing a bit and use color (yes, now I have days that I feel like wearing color!). So one day I went to Primark and bought a red knit sweater and this one in this super bright pink. This colour really is a big change for me, I really didn't have a piece of clothing in pink in my closet, but when I saw this one in the store I really liked it. So now in the middle of all my neutral knits, there's this super bright pink one doing a lot of contrast!

Normalmente nunca faço os gift guides tão característicos desta altura do ano, porque a blogosfera fica cheia deles e sinto sempre que acaba por ser mais um post com mais ou menos o mesmo conteúdo, no entanto no ano passado fiz este post que vocês gostaram bastante e, por isso, este ano trago-o outra vez. São então 10 presentes caso sejam aquelas pessoas que deixam estas compras para a última da hora e que uma pessoa fica sempre contente de receber. Algumas são mais indicadas para mulher, é o caso dos brincos, do porta-moedas e talvez o livro. Mas há outras coisas que dão para qualquer pessoa, como por exemplo a polaroid, a moldura (que fica super giro se juntarem uma foto vossa com a pessoa que vão oferecer), o perfume (este é o de homem, mas também há a versão feminina) e a coluna (que tem noutros padrões também). Espero ter-vos ajudado de alguma forma, eu ficava super contente com qualquer um destes presentes!

Some are more suitable for women like the earrings, the wallet or even the book. But others are good to any people like the polaroid, the frame (that would be very cute if you add a photo of you with the people you're giving it to), the fragrance (this is the one for men, but there's also a female version) and the speaker (there are in other prints as well). O Natal é das minhas alturas preferidas do ano, aliás é uma das principais razões porque gosto tanto do Inverno (que por acaso começa hoje!). Acho que são raras as pessoas que não gostam do Natal, mas que tal fazer uma pequena lista com tudo aquilo que me faz ansiar por esta altura todos os anos? A primeira são as luzes, as cidades ficam tão bonitas nesta altura do ano e, claro, nota-se que as pessoas andam sempre mais felizes! Depois claro a família e todas as tradições, comigo só acontece estar com toda a família no dia de Natal, mas são sempre bons momentos e adoro poder passá-los no campo. E por fim, a roupa, é uma altura em que temos a desculpa perfeita para usar as nossas roupas mais brilhantes e eu aproveitei esta altura para usar estas meias novas super brilhantes, acho que são um pormenor super giro e que dão um ar diferente ao outfit, que acham? Espero que gostem e lembrem-se de aproveitar as pequenas coisas este Natal!
Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, actually I think it's one of the main reasons why I love Winter so much (that starts today by the way!). I think people who don't like Christmas are very rare, but how about doing a little list with the things that make me get so excited this time every year? The first thing are the lights, the cities just get so beautiful during this time of the year and of course people just look so much happier! Then of course family and all the traditions, usually I'm with my whole family only on the Christmas day, but this are always good moments and I love to spend them at the countryside. Lastly, the clothes, it's a time when we have the perfect excuse to use our super sparkly clothes and I took advantage of that and wore my new glitter socks, I think they're a super cute detail and give a different touch to the outfit, what do you think? Hope you like it and remember to enjoy the little things this Christmas!

Se não são fãs de pulseiras, uma relógio metálico (dourado ou prateado) pode ser a solução. É simples, elegante e, além disso, é útil também. Se ainda assim acham que falta alguma coisa, adicionem alguma pulseiras mais pequenas, fica sempre bem ao pé de um relógio.
If you're not a fan of bracelets, a metallic watch (golden or silver) can be the solution. It's simple, elegant and besides that is useful as well.If you still think there's something missing, add some small bracelets, looks always good next to a watch.

A mala perfeita é sempre difícil de encontrar, porque tem de ser chic o suficiente para combinar com o teu outfit, mas também funcional para conseguires guardar tudo o que normalmente levas contigo. Esta pareceu-me perfeita, para além de ter o tamanho perfeito, a "alça" metálica torna-a bastante diferente.
The perfect bag can be quite tricky to find, because it has to be chic to match with your outfit, but also functional so you can keep everything you usually carry with you. This one seemed perfect, because it has the perfect size and the metallic handle makes it very different.

Para um outfit mais simples e básico, um par de brincos statement faz logo toda a diferença. Estes são os meus go-to esta época festiva, adoro-os por serem super brilhantes, mas também gosto muito do pormenor de o par ser diferente, o que torna tudo mais divertido.
To a more simple and basic outfit, a pair of statement earrings makes all the difference. This are my go-to this party season and I loved them for being extra sparkly, but I also love the detail of the pair being different from each other which makes everything more fun.

A época festiva está aí e as lojas já estão cheias de vestidos brilhantes e com lantejoulas para usares nesta altura. Mas é o seguinte, nem todas nós somos o tipo de raparigas que gostem de usar vestidos e pode ser difícil encontrar o balanço perfeito entre um outfit de festa e o nosso próprio estilo. Mas por favor, sejam vocês mesmas nesta época, e se serem vocês mesmas é usar um vestido curto cheio de lantejoulas com uns sapatos altíssimos então que assim seja, mas se for uma t-shirt e jeans então que assim seja também. O meu estilo está a mudar bastante, por isso identifico-me com os dois, mas visto que não é tão comum usar jeans e uma t-shirt nesta altura, decidi mostrar-vos a minha própria forma de o usar. O blazer ajuda imenso e traz logo o elemento de festa para o outfit e depois, visto que não sou grande fã de sapatos de tacão-alto, usei as botas mais altas que consegui encontrar no meu armário. Por isso lembrem-se, não há regras no que toca a escolher o vosso outfit para esta época de festa e sejam vocês mesmas!

Party season is here and stores are full with glitter and sequin dresses for you to rock during this festive time. The thing is, not all of us are dresses kind of girls and can be quite hard to find the perfect balance between a party outfit and your own style. But please remember to be yourself this party season, if being yourself is wearing a sequin mini dress with some killer heels then do it, but if being youself is wearing a t-shirt with jeans then do it as well. My style is changing so much that I can relate with both, but since it's more rare to see people wearing jeans and t-shirt during the festive season I decided to bring you my own way to wear it. The blazer really does it all and brings that party element to the outfit, then since I'm not really into high heel shoes, I just throw the highest boots I have in my closet. So remember, there are no rules when it comes to party dressing so just do you!

Roupa nova, quem não gosta, certo? Além de adorar passear pelas lojas (shopping really is my cardio XD), também há sempre alguma peça nova que gostamos e arranjamos alguma desculpa na nossa cabeça para eventualmente a comprarmos. Ou porque não temos nada do género no armário ou porque ia ficar mesmo bem com uma peça que já temos no armário. Mas tudo isto para vos dizer que às vezes são as peças que temos há mais tempo que realmente expressam o nosso estilo e que gostamos. É o caso deste casaco. Estive a ver o arquivo do blog para confirmar e já o tenho há dois anos e continua a ser dos meus preferidos. É o melhor casaco para combater o frio e, realmente, é intemporal. É a primeira vez esta estação que aparece num outfit post, mas preparam-se que, tal como nos anos anteriores, vai aparecer muito por aqui. Espero que gostem do outfit e tenham um bom fim-de-semana!

New clothes, who doesn't like them, right? Besides loving to walk through the stores (shopping really is my cardio XD), there's always a new piece that we like and we always made up an excuse to eventually buy it. Or because we don't have anything like it in our closet, or because it would look really good with a piece you already have in your closet. All of this to tell you that sometimes are the pieces that we have in our closet for the longest time that really express our style and that we really love. It's this coat's case. I was checking the blog's archive and I already have it for two years now and it's still one of my favourites. It's the best coat to beat the cold and it really is timeless. It's the first time appearing on an outfit post this season, but just like the previous years get ready because you're going to see it here a lot.
