Here are the analogue photos from London. Gosh, how I missed this city. It was my ninth time visiting and it's a city that never stops surprising me. Each neighbourhood has its own beauty and it's such a fun city to shoot. It was also the first time I used an Ektar 100 film and I loved the result. I hope you like the photos! Leave your opinion in the comments below.

I know this last week was very quiet over here, but if you follow me on Instagram you know I went back to my favourite city ever, London. I was over there last week and before sharing with you my analogue photos (hopefully I will get them today), I decided to share with you the outfits I wore over there. Do you have a favourite? Let me know in the comments.

So much has been said about influencers. But today I'm going to share all the secrets. Everything we've been hiding from all this time. I'm kidding of course, but I thought it would be fun to share some curiosities that maybe you never thought about. Small things we do in our job that maybe you never caught. So here are five secrets we don't tell you about.

Instagram is a source of inspiration to me. It's a tool I use to work and also a place I can always go to when I'm in need of an extra dose of inspiration. However, Instagram also has trends, and it's hard not to fall for them once in a while. If at the beggining everyone was posting high-quality photos with weird poses, nowadays everyone is posting super natural photos taken with their phones. #Photodumps or super dark and moody photos are some of those trends and this kind of content always has a bunch of likes. I also love that kind of content, and I post it often because it's something I like to create, you also like to see it, and it's content that always has the most interactions. But it gets to a point where everyone is doing the same thing. We are all following the same trends, and it gets boring to me. So, once in a while, I like to do something different. Either that being playing with edition, adding some graphics, shooting in analogue or creating photos completely different from what I usually do. Even if it means I'm not getting as many likes or interactions (what usually happens since I'm not following the trends I spoke about earlier). But it's content I'm proud of, that I truly like and I want to share it with you. I might not have the same amount of interactions, but in the long term I know it will pay off. That's the only way you can stand out in a crowd where everyone is doing the same damn thing.

Trouxe comigo o famoso 'The Little Book of Hygge' e gostei mesmo muito.

After hearing so much about Hygge when I was in Copenhagen, I obviously had to bring with me a book to understand this danish concept. I brought the famous 'The Little Book of Hygge', and I really enjoyed it. It's a simple book, but you totally understand what hygge is all about. It's a book that makes you think about the way you live your life and so here are five things I've learned from it.

1. Cosy Home, Happy Life

We all love a cosy home, but Danish people take it very seriously. From loads of blankets to candles everywhere, they want to feel cosy in their homes in order to feel hygge. I started lighting candles more often because of this book, and it really makes a huge difference.

2. Appreciate The Little Things

Even though Denmark is one of the darkest and coldest countries during Autumn and Winter, it's also one of the countries where people are the happiest. Weird, but hygge explains it all. Bad things, like rainy and cold days, become good things. It's all about looking at the positive things and appreciating the little things. Is it a super cold day? Then it's the perfect time to try a new recipe. Or drink a cappuccino and read a good book. You just need a new perspective.

3. Hygge is Meant To Be Shared with Friends

I confess that since I returned from Copenhagen that I really feel like spending more time with friends and even doing new friends to spend a good time with. Danish people really spend a lot of time with friends, and it's something you really feel when you are there. Even on a weekday, restaurants are full of groups of friends. You can feel hygge alone, but it's always better to share it with friends.

I don't know if it's something normal or it's because of my work, but most of my friends I've met online. Of course, I have friends that I made in school, but the ones I see more often are friends I met online. Even my boyfriend I've met online. I really think it's something normal nowadays. We spend so much time online that it's easier to find your people on the Internet. It's easier to find people you connect with, with the same interests and goals as you. And I even think it's something very beautiful. When a friendship jumps from the little screen to real life. And it's amazing how it feels like you already know that person. How the connection you had online jumps to real life so easily. The Internet may have a bunch of bad things, but this is something I find amazing and truly touching. And even when people ask how to make friends later in life, online is the answer. That girl you admire who even lives in the same city as you? Send her a DM. That boy that you really fancy but never try to engage with him, send him a message! Even though I consider myself an introverted person, I have met amazing people lately through social media. Friends will be friends (to read with Freddie Mercury's voice in mind)... have you met them in real life or online.

Last month, I didn't publish this post because, honestly, I wasn't very inspired in the music department, I was just listening to old playlists. But this month the monthly playlist is back. I'm so in love with the new Rosalía album (and I'm super happy that she's coming to Portugal). I already liked her, but, to me, this album is the best yet. On the playlist, you can find some of my favourite songs from this album. In a different vibe, also Miley Cyrus launched a new album with live songs and I also really enjoyed it, I love how she covers old but iconic bands and how she's not afraid of her past. You can also find some old songs (as always), but find out everything on the playlist down below.

25. Aquela idade ali no meio. Andamos todos a tentar encontrar o nosso caminho e a tentar tirar algum partido disso. E a lista continua.

25. That age when you're just in between. You're still in your twenties but halfway to getting to your thirties. That's actually my age, and as you probably know it's a time when a lot of people go through a quarter-life crisis. I don't know if it's because of these crazy times we are living or something else, but I'm not really feeling it. Nowadays we have so much information, that I just realize that no one knows anything. No one has figured out life. We are all just living and trying to find our path, and that's totally fine. Maybe that's what life is all about anyway. But I think this quarter-life crisis is so common because society has the thing where you have to make everything you want before your thirties. You have to settle before your 30s. You have to buy a house before your 30s. You have to marry before your 30s. You have to start your business. You have to have your group of friends. You have to start a family. And the list goes on. It's like we have an expiration date. But you know what's amazing about life? You can do all that after your 30s. You can even do all of that in your 40s. How many people realize later in life what they really want to do? This has to stop. Life doesn't stop after you're 30 (actually, I heard it just gets better). It's okay if you are feeling lost or anxious, but just keep in mind that's the society that makes you feel like you have to fulfil all these standards, and maybe those won't even make you truly happy in the end. Do you, if you don't really know what that means right now, it's fine, you will find it one day, whether you're 26 or 41.

Every time I go on a trip, I always like to share with you a travel guide with my favourite things to do in the city. Just go to the travel category, and you will find all the travel guides I already did in the past. But one of these days, this thought came to my mind: how is it possible that I have never done a Porto travel guide? It's my city, and there are so many things that you cannot miss. So here is my Porto Travel Guide. I hope you find it useful and if you end up doing something that it's mentioned in this guide, tag me so I will know it.

  • Do a picnic at Palácio de Cristal gardens: o Palácio de Cristal é outro jardim que não podem perder, tem vistas incríveis e é o sítio perfeito para fazerem um piquenique / Palácio de Cristal is another garden that you cannot miss, the views are amazing and it's the perfect place to have a picnic

"As pessoas vão gozar comigo". E a lista continua.

A few days ago, I wrote something on my Stories that resonated with a lot of you. After shooting this outfit, my friend (what up Marta) had to leave, and I decided to take myself on a little date. I went to a few vintage stores, and in the end, decided to grab some food at a café. I was seating right there when I realised that doing that used to be one of my biggest fears. Seating by myself in a café used to make me very nervous and anxious. Now it's something I love to do. Some of you message me saying this is something you struggle with, and I decided to write this post to try to help you with that. I think my fear was about what other people would think. It's not like I didn't enjoy doing it, it was more about what other people would think. People will stare at you. People will make fun of you. And so on. But you know what? No one cares, and you shouldn't as well. I think it's something very common when we are young. We only think about ourselves, we think the world spins around us, and that we are the main character in everyone's life. Of course, that's not true. Only you have those thoughts. Everyone around you is, just like you, thinking about themselves. So, if this is something you struggle with, start step by step. First, go out just to grab a coffee by yourself. The second time, maybe go have lunch at a cool spot you always wanted to go to. And with time, you will find yourself going to the cinema or to a concert by yourself. Because you are cool as fuck, and no one is better company than yourself. Enjoy it.

If the name 'Neaplotina Novels' doesn't spark anything in you, then 'My Brillant Friend' probably does. Actually, I shared my review on the first and second books around here (you can read them HERE and HERE), but the Neapolitan Novels are the four books written by Elena Ferrante that everyone is talking about. I already read the four of them and instead of speaking about each book, I decided to write a post with five reasons to read these books. Of course, I highly recommend it if you do, I loved them so much.

Every Book Gets Better

If you think you love the first book, then you're going to love the second one even more. If you think you loved the second book, you're going to love the third one even more. And so on. They just keep getting better and better.

Makes You Dream About Italy

Even though the first book is mainly set in Napoles, in the next books some of the characters (or just one character) end up travelling around several Italian cities and these books really make you dream about Italy. Ischia, an island that is mentioned a lot throughout the books, is a place I already went to a few years ago where I spend the best Summer holidays, and I'm just dying to go back after reading these books.

Female Friendship As Its Core

As mulheres mandam neste livro.

Women rule in this book. There is romance, there are men, but the friendship between the two main characters is the main subject, and that's something amazing about this book. It's all about women, about marriage, about motherhood, and how all of these affect women, it's not something you see that often.

The Characters Are Unforgettable

The characters are so strong and so real, that almost feels like you know them. And since you follow them from the start (each book represents a time in their life, from childhood to old age) they really stuck with you. I, who have a very bad memory, still remember the name of each character.

They Are Impossible To Get Down

Sometimes, when I decide to read a saga, I usually do a break between books and read something else but these books are impossible to put down. They are totally a page-turner and once you finish a book, you just want to start the next one right away.

All my life I considered myself an introvert, and if we look at an introvert as someone who recharges by being on their own in their own environment, then I'm totally an introvert. But there are certain aspects of an introvert that I don't really see myself in, at least not anymore, and one of these days I saw a TikTok by Sophia Molen that totally spoke to my soul. In that video, she wrote: "you know you're an ambivert when you want to spend time every day at home, but at the very same time, crave adventures with friends every single day". And that's when I discovered what an ambivert is. I couldn't relate more to those words she wrote. I love being at home, but I also get tired if I spend too much time at home. I love travelling and going on adventures with my friends, but I also like to spend time by myself. I'm not either this or that. And you know what? I don't have to. Society loves to create and put us into these different boxes, and, of course, being an ambivert is just another one of those boxes, but at least is one in the middle. Harder to define but it makes total sense to me. I guess I have to rewrite this blog post I wrote a while ago and write a new one about "when an ambivert becomes a blogger", which makes so much more sense now.
