Desde que comecei o novo "calendário" aqui no blog que tenho feito o meu melhor para vos trazer dois outfits por semana. Tenho conseguido fazê-lo, mas, como devem ter reparado, este é o primeiro outfit que estou a publicar esta semana e vou-vos explicar porquê. Eu até tinha um outfit para publicar ontem, mas não estava a gostar das fotos e nestas situações prefiro não publicar, do que estar a partilhar com vocês conteúdo com o qual não estou 100% satisfeita. Este blog já é um trabalho para mim, mas será também sempre um hobby e algo que realmente gosto de fazer e com o qual me quero sentir orgulhosa, sabendo que fiz sempre o melhor que pude. Portanto, não houve outfit post ontem, mas há hoje. O que vocês acham? Gostam? Eu já tenho este body há imenso tempo e continua a ser das minhas peças favoritas!

Since I got the new schedule on the blog that I really like and try really hard to bring you two outfit posts a week. I've been able to do it, but this week this is the first outfit I'm posting and I'm going to tell you why. I actually had an outfit to post yesterday, but I just wasn't feeling those photos and sometimes I can be very perfectionist and I rather not post something that I'm not proud of than posting just because I have to. And even though this blog already is a job to me, it will always also be a hobby and something that I truly enjoy doing. So there was no outfit post yesterday, but we have one today. What do you think? Like it? I have this bodysuit for a while now and it's still one of my favourite pieces!

Acho que encontrei um novo amor por vestidos e saias midi. Não é que eu não goste de vestidos curtos, porque gosto e muito, mas este comprimento é tão mais prático. E sim, ando a sonhar com a famosa saia da Realisation Par. Eu sei que meio mundo a tem, mas sinto que o meu armário de Primavera/Verão precisa de uma saia assim. Se por acaso souberem de alguma marca que tenha feito uma parecida (e que seja mais barata) digam-me. E o resto são peças que também seriam muito bem-vindas. Têm alguma favorita? Contem-me tudo!

I think I have a new love for midi dresses and skirts. I still like short dresses a lot, but the midi length is so much more practical. And yes, I've been dreaming with the famous Realisation Par skirt. I know everyone has it, but I feel like my Spring/Summer wardrobe really needs a skirt like this. If by any chances you know a brand with a skirt similar (and cheaper) to this one in their collection, please let me know. And all the pieces on this wishlist would be very welcomed as well. Básicos. O que seria do nosso armário sem eles, não é verdade? Mesmo que gostem de peças mais chamativas, tenho a certeza que não dispensam aqueles básicos que ajudam sempre na hora de criar um outfit. Eu, pelo menos, sou assim e, se há coisa que acho que se deve investir, são básicos. Por isso é que hoje partilho com vocês as minhas lojas favoritas para comprar três tipos de básicos: blazers, jeans e T-shirts. Para mim, estas são aquelas peças sem as quais não consigo viver, mas claro que há muitas mais, talvez faça mais posts deste género se gostarem.

Basics. What would our wardrobes be without them, right? Even if you're more into quirky pieces, I'm sure you can't live without a couple of basics that always help you when you're putting an outfit together. I know I can't and if there's something I really don't mind to invest in is basics. That's why today I'm sharing with you my favourite stores where to buy three kinds of basics: blazers, jeans and T-shirts. These are three pieces of clothing that I really can't live without, but obviously, there's way more, but that's for another post.



Blazers

Já não é novidade nenhuma que eu adoro blazers. Por isso é que esta altura do ano é das minhas favoritas. Ainda está fresco o suficiente e não demasiado quente para os usar. É uma peça que invisto sem qualquer dúvida, porque sei que vou usar imenso.

That I love blazers I think everyone is aware. That's why I love this time of the year, it's not too hot neither too cold to wear them. It's a piece of clothing that I always invest in, because I know I will wear it a lot.

Jeans

O vosso fit preferido até pode ser diferente do meu, mas não me podem dizer que não têm uns quantos pares de calças de ganga no vosso armário. E não há nada como ter uns quantos pares em que, realmente, se sentem bem e, por isso, é que, mais uma vez, acho importante investir em calças de ganga.

Your favourite fit may be different from mine, but you can't tell me that you don't have a couple of jeans in your closet. And there's nothing like having a few pairs that you really feel good in and that's why I think it's so important to invest in jeans.

T-shirts

E, por fim, T-shirts. Não digo que paguem um balúrdio por elas, mas, para mim, é muito importante que sejam 100% algodão. Não dispenso algumas em branco, preto e às riscas. E também sou fã das T-shirts com padrão gráfico.

And last, but not least: T-shirts. I'm not saying that you should spend loads on them, but to me, it's very important that they are 100% cotton. I always have some in black, white and striped. And as you know I'm also a fan of the graphic print T-shirt.

This is the first time I bring this subject to the blog, but I'm really getting addicted to tv series and I had to share with you my favourites. I'm also thinking about doing a post about my favourite tv series of all time (tell me if that's something you would like to see), but today I have for you three tv series I watched recently and that really like. Russian Doll

Se me vos disser que acabei esta série em apenas um dia, acreditam? Bem, podem acreditar, porque é verdade e foi a primeira vez que isto me aconteceu. Os episódios são de mais ou menos 20 minutos, que é uma coisa que eu adoro, mas a história foi o que mais me cativou. É mesmo muito weird, mas de uma maneira boa.

What if I told you that I finished this show in only one day, would you believe it? Well, you can believe it, because it's true and it was the first time this actually happened to me. The episodes only have 20 minutes which is something that I really like, but the story was what really captured my attention. It's so so weird but in such a good way.

Coisa Mais Linda

Nunca pensei vir a gostar tanto de uma série brasileira, mas não há nada que eu não adore nesta série. Além de o enredo ser fantástico e ligado ao mundo da música, a série tem toda uma vibe que eu adoro. Os looks são incríveis, os planos e as cores são lindos e são todas estas coisas que me fazem adorar esta série.

I never thought I would like a Brasilian tv show so much, but there's nothing not to love about this one. Besides the plot being amazing and very connected to the music industry, this tv show has a vibe that I love. The outfits are amazing, the backgrounds and colours are gorgeous and it's all that that makes me love this show so much.

Esta já vi há algum tempo, mas também é daquelas séries que vos cativam desde o primeiro episódio. Adoro a forma como as personagens vão evoluindo ao longo da série e como a nossa opinião sobre as mesmas também muda. E a boa notícia é que a segunda série já foi confirmada.

This one I've watched a while ago, but it's one of those tv series that get your attention from the first episode. I love how the characters evolve throughout the show and how our opinion about them also changes. And the good news is that the second season has been confirmed.

Depois de ter escrito este post em que vos falei um pouco do lado mau de ser mulher, acho que chegou a altura de falar do lado bom, porque deixem-me que vos diga, eu adoro ser mulher. Sim, às vezes a vida pode ser mais difícil para o sexo feminino, isso é impossível de negar, mas, mesmo assim, não trocava por nada neste mundo. E, visto que a maior parte do meu público é feminino, acho que se vão identificar com isto. Primeiro tenho de falar da relação que temos com outras raparigas e o poder que o um girl squad pode ter. Sinto que a nossa união é bem mais forte. Até posso estar completamente errada, mas sinto que nós raparigas partilhamos muito mais com as nossas amigas, do que os rapazes fazem com os seus amigos (e se quiserem ler mais sobre amizades entre mulheres podem ler este post que escrevi há alguns meses atrás). Depois também tenho de mencionar a moda e o quanto eu gosto de me arranjar. Claro que os rapazes também podem fazer isso, mas nós raparigas podemos brincar com a moda muito mais e eu adoro isso. Adoro arranjar-me de manhã, pôr a minha maquilhagem, arranjar o cabelo e criar um outfit. Temos muito mais liberdade na forma como nos podemos expressar. E se acham que estou errada, vejam um evento de red carpet e vejam a diferença entre os homens e as mulheres. E podia continuar a mencionar coisas que me fazem adorar ser mulher, mas quero saber a vossa opinião. O que te faz adorar ser mulher?

After writing this post in which I told you a little bit about the bad side of being a woman, I felt the need to also talk about the good side, because let me tell you, I love being a woman. Yes, sometimes is hard being a girl in the world we live in, you just can't deny that, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. And since most of my audience is feminine, I'm sure you will relate with everything I'm going to say. First I have to mention the friendship we have we other girls and the power of the girl squad. I feel like our bond is so much stronger. I  might be completely wrong, but I feel like we share so much more with our girlfriends than boys do with other boys (and if you want to read a bit more about female friendships you can read this post I wrote a few months ago). Then I also have to mention fashion and how much I love getting ready. Sure, boys can do the same, but I feel we can play so much more with fashion and I love that. I love getting ready in the morning, putting my makeup on and putting an outfit together. We just have so much more freedom when it comes to fashion and more room to express ourselves. And if you feel like this isn't true, just watch a red carpet event and you will understand exactly what I'm saying. And I could go on and on, but now I want to know about you, what do you love about being a woman?

Apesar de gostar de vos trazer temas diferentes nos posts de faço, hoje vou, simplesmente, falar sobre esta camisa. Tenho-a há dois anos (até fui ao arquivo do blog para confirmar) e é o exemplo perfeito daquelas peças que ficam paradas no armário durante imenso tempo, até chegar o dia que fazem, novamente, sentido no vosso estilo. Se me seguem há algum tempo, sabem que o meu estilo há dois anos atrás era bem diferente e, por isso, até me lembro que na altura tive bastante dificuldade em criar um outfit com ela. No entanto, hoje posso-vos dizer que acho que vai ser a camisa que mais vou usar esta estação. Tem tudo a ver com o meu estilo neste momento e tenho imensas ideias de como a conjugar. Por isso é que às vezes se torna difícil para mim largar-me de algumas peças. O meu estilo muda tanto que o gosto hoje, posso não gostar amanhã e vice-versa. Mas e vocês? Têm alguma peça de roupa que vos tenha acontecido o mesmo?

I really like to bring you different subjects with my posts, but today I'm going to simply talk about this shirt. I have it for two years now (I actually checked the blog's archive to be sure) and it's the perfect example of those pieces that you have in your closet that you don't wear and suddenly one day they make sense in your style again. If you've been following me for a while now you know that my style was very different two years ago and I actually remember that was really hard to me to create an outfit with this shirt at the time. However, today I can say that I think this is the shirt I'm going to wear the most this season. It really reflects my style right now and I already have a bunch of ideas on how to wear it. That's why sometimes it's so hard for me to let go of certain pieces. My style changes so much that what I like today I might not like tomorrow and vice-versa. But what about you? Do you have a piece of clothing that happened the same?

Estão a ver como o bom tempo influencia a minha vontade de fotografar? Foram apenas precisos alguns dias mais quentes e repletos de Sol que tivemos logo post das 'Disposable Series' em duas semanas seguidas. E, mais uma vez, adorei o resultado. Mal posso esperar pela minha próxima viagem no fim deste mês para fotografar novos sítios e trazer-vos ainda mais fotos. Mas por enquanto temos estas fotografas pelo Porto. O que acham? See how the weather completely influences my will to shoot? I only needed a few warmer and sunny days and we have 'Disposable Series' posts two weeks in a row. And once again, I love how the photos turned out. I cannot wait for my next trip by the end of this month to shoot new places and bring you even more photos. Today I bring you another post for my 'Porto Coffee Guide'. You already know how much I love knowing new places and although I share a bunch of spots with you, sometimes I end up not mentioning some that I really like as well. The temperature is finally rising so I chose three places where you can enjoy a coffee, but also enjoy the Sun. Tell me if you have a favourite.

O Selina tem um conceito bastante diferente. À entrada quase que não se percebe o que podem encontrar, mas o Selina, além de ser um hostel, tem também um café e um bar com um enorme jardim, perfeito para os dias mais quentes.

Selina has a very different concept. By the entrance you really wouldn't say that inside you can find a hostel, but also a cafe and a bar with a huge garden perfect for the warmer days that are coming.

Já não vou à Maria Bôla há algum tempo, mas gosto mesmo muito deste café. Além do espaço ser super acolhedor, o jardim que têm na parte de trás é o sítio perfeito para passar uma tarde de Verão. Já para não falar da comida que é deliciosa.

I haven't been to Maria Bôla in while, but I really love it there. Besides being a very cosy place, the garden they have is the perfect place to spend some hours in a Summer afternoon. And obviously, the food is delicious.

Da Nola Kitchen já vos falei neste post, mas na altura falei-vos brunch (que é fantástico btw) e acho que também devia referir que é, igualmente, agradável para beber um café na esplanada.

I already told you about Nola Kitchen on this post, but I told you about the brunch at the time (that is delicious btw), but I feel like I should also tell you that it's amazing to have a coffee on the outside area they now have.

Há quem ache que há pessoas com sorte, há quem ache que cada um cria a sua própria sorte e eu sou da opinião que a sorte é relativa. Se estás a ler este post, até podes achar que não tens sorte, mas, relativamente a pessoas que vivem num sítio completamente diferente do teu e se encontram numa realidade completamente diferente da tua, tens mesmo muito sorte. Tens acesso à Internet, e, provavelmente, consegues aceder à mesma de diversos dispositivos. Tens o conforto de uma casa e vives numa sociedade que, em princípio, te respeita, independentemente do teu sexo, idade ou religião. Mas isto não quer dizer que não tenhas problemas e podes, apesar de teres todo este privilégio, considerar-te uma pessoa de pouca sorte. Isto porque a sorte é relativa e nós só conseguimos comparar a nossa própria sorte com aquilo que conhecemos. Será que estamos perante uma nova teoria da relatividade? Talvez sim, talvez não, mas da próxima vez que acharem que não têm sorte lembrem-se disto que vos disse.

Some people think luck is something you get, other people think you can create your own luck, I'm of the opinion that luck is relative. If you're reading this the truth is that you're very lucky. You might not agree with it, but you are. You can access the Internet and from several different devices. You have the comfort of a home and you probably live on a society that respects you no matter your sex, age or religion. But this doesn't mean you don't have problems, I'm sure you do, we all do and although you come from a very privileged background, sometimes you probably think you're the unluckiest person in the world. That's why luck is so relative, we can only compare our luck in the reality that we live in. Is this a new relativity theory? Maybe, but next time you think you're not lucky, just think about what I just wrote.

I'm almost finishing the book I'm currently reading, the 'Feminists Don't Wear Pink (And Other Lies)' (a post about it is coming really soon) so today I'm sharing with you my new reading list with the book I'm thinking about ordering to read after this one. My Thoughts Exactly by Lily Allen

Como já vos disse, os meus livros favoritos para ler são ou livros de memórias ou biografias. Há qualquer coisa neste tipo de livros que me fascina, talvez por saber que são histórias reais que aconteceram em determinado tempo. Este é um livro de memórias. chama-se 'My Thoughts Exactly' e foi escrito pela famosa cantora Lily Allen. Do que já ouvi sobre deste livro é uma leitura bastante emotiva, por isso mal posso esperar por ler.

As I told you before, I love reading biographies and memoirs, they're my favourite kind of books. There's something about them that fascinates me, maybe because I know that everything I'm reading is real and happened at a certain time. This book is called 'My Thoughts Exactly' and it's a memoir written by the famous singer Lily Allen. From what I heard about it, it's a very emotional read so I can't wait to read it.

Man Repeller by Leandra Medine

Se estão minimamente por dentro do mundo dos blogs, tenho a certeza que já ouviram falar do blog (agora site) Man Repeller. A Leandra Medine, conhecida pelo seu estilo bem diferente e sentido de humor apurado, foi a criadora do mesmo e há alguns anos atrás escreveu este livro. É um conjunto de histórias pessoais e, sendo eu uma fã do seu trabalho, estou bastante curiosa com este livro.

If you're into the blogging world, I'm pretty sure you already heard about the blog (now website) Man Repeller. Leandra Medina who's known for her quirky style and sense of humour launched the website and some years ago wrote this book. It's a collection of personal essays and since I'm a huge fan of her work, I'm very curious about this book.

Fight Like A Girl by Laura Barcella

Já devem ter reparado que um assunto que é comum em muitos dos livros que leio é o feminismo e é, definitivamente, algo sobre o qual quero aprender mais e este livro parece-me perfeito para isso. O 'Fight Like A Girl' é um livro onde vão aprender mais sobre 50 feministas que mudaram o mundo e que todos nós devíamos conhecer.

You probably already noticed that there's a pattern on the subjects that I chose to read about and something that I'm really into at the moment is feminism and I really want to learn more about it and I think this book is a good starting point. 'Fight Like A Girl' profiles 50 feminists who changed the world that we all should know about.

Desde que me lembro que me canso das coisas muito rapidamente. Em criança, podia estar a brincar com a minha Barbie favorita que rapidamente me aborrecia e começava a pensar no próximo brinquedo que queria juntar à minha colecção. O mesmo hoje em dia com roupa, por exemplo, e não me orgulho disto. O que pode ser o meu vestido favorito, rapidamente passa a segundo plano e a minha wishlist começa a crescer com novas peças. Isto para vos explicar esta nova mudança no design do blog. Como devem ter reparado, o blog tem um novo design e estou super contente. Não foi há muito tempo a última mudança, mas, como vos disse, canso-me das coisas muito facilmente e já estava a sentir necessidade de dar um update ao blog. Sinceramente, acho que neste momento está mais fácil de navegar e de ver todo o conteúdo, mas quero saber a vossa opinião. Eu gosto mesmo muito, não sei durante quanto tempo, mas agora estou muito satisfeita.

Since I can remember that I always get tired of things really easily. When I was a kid, I could be playing with my favourite Barbie that quickly I would get bored and started thinking about the new toy I would like to add to my collection. The same today with clothes for example and I'm not proud of that. What's my favourite dress today, tomorrow I can simply forget about it and start creating a wishlist in my head with new pieces. All this to explain to you why I decided to change the blog design. As you probably have noticed, the blog has a new design and I'm very happy about it. It hasn't been a while since the last time I changed it, but as I told you I get tired of things very easily and I really wanted to do a little update. Honestly, I really think that it's way easier to browse and to see all the content right now, but I would love to know your opinion. I really like it, I can't tell you for how long, but right now I couldn't be happier about it.

Quando fiz o primeiro post sobre podcasts (que podem ler AQUI), disse-vos que ainda estava a descobrir o mundo dos podcasts e por isso até pedi recomendações a outras bloggers. Seis meses depois e estou completamente viciada em podcasts. Não passo um dia sem ouvir pelo menos um episódio e já tenho uma lista de alguns favoritos que não posso mesmo perder. Estes três que venho partilhar com vocês hoje descobri há pouco tempo, mas já mereceram lugar nessa lista. Digam-me também quais os vossos podcasts favoritos, gosto sempre de descobrir novos.

When I wrote the first post about podcasts (that you can read HERE), I told you that I was still finding the world of podcasts and I even asked other bloggers for recommendations. Six months later and I'm completely addicted to podcasts. There's not a day that goes by without me listening to at least one episode and I already have a list with my favourites that I really can't miss. These three that I'm sharing with you today I found out about not a while ago, but they are already on that list. Also, tell me which are your favourite podcasts, I would love to find new ones.

 1.Things You Can't Ask Yer Mum

Que eu sou fã do blog da Lizzy Hadfield e da Lindsey Holland vocês já sabem, mas agora sou igualmente fã do podcast delas, o 'Things You Can't Ask Yer Mum'. É um podcast mesmo muito recente, ainda só tem três episódios, mas os temas têm sido todos muito interessantes.

That I'm a fan of Lizzy Hadfield and Lindsey Holland's blogs you already know, but now I'm also a fan of their podcast, the 'Things You Can't Ask Yer Mum'. It's a very new podcast with only three episodes, but the subjects have been very interesting.

2.Congratulations

Por onde começar para descrever o 'Congratulations'? Talvez por dizer que o Chris D'elia é, provavelmente, das pessoas com mais piada de sempre. Depois de ver os especiais de comédia dele no Netflix, tive de começar a ouvir o podcast e é, simplesmente, genial.

Where to begin to describe 'Congratulations'? Maybe by saying that Chris D'elia is probably one of the funniest guys on earth. After watching his comedy specials on Netflix, I had to start listening to his podcast and it's genius.

3.Desert Island Discs

Descobri este podcast há relativamente pouco tempo, mas é um programa que já tem muito anos. Todos os episódios têm um convidado diferente e têm de escolher oito álbuns de música que levavam para um ilha deserta, um livro e um luxo. É um podcast bastante diferente daquilo que se ouve hoje em dia, mas é mesmo muito bom.

I found out about this podcast not a while ago, but it's a programme with quite some years now. Every episode has a different guest and they have to choose eight records they would take to a desert island, a book and a luxury. It's a podcast very different from what has been done nowadays, but it's very good.
