Cada vez se fala mais de sustentabilidade na moda e é algo com que nos devemos preocupar. Já falei deste tema por aqui diversas vezes, mas será que este aumento de consciência com aquilo que esta indústria está a fazer ao nosso ambiente, vai ditar o fim dos fashion hauls que eu tanto gosto de ver no Youtube? A verdade é que cada vez este tipo de vídeos são mais escassos. Falando no meu caso em específico, cada vez mais sinto que fazer posts de wishlists ou de "new in" com coisas que comprei não fazem assim tanto sentido. Eu adoro fazê-los, gosto de partilhar esse tipo de coisas com vocês, mas não gosto de sentir que estou a apoiar o consumismo. Mas por outro lado, isto que eu faço está directamente relacionado com roupa e até que ponto vocês gostam de ver outfits com roupa que já não podem comprar? Eu tenho de ser sincera: já não compro roupa com tecidos de má qualidade e cada vez sou mais a favor de comprar vintage, mas nunca vou deixar de comprar em lojas de fast fashion. Adoro roupa e às vezes uma nova peça no nosso armário pode ser tudo o que precisamos para nos sentirmos novamente inspirados. Talvez essa peça seja vintage, ou talvez não, mas gostava de saber se vocês querem que eu partilhe com vocês ou não. Fico à espera da vossa opinião.

More and more we've been talking about sustainability in fashion and that's something we should definitely be aware of. I already talked about it here a few times, but do you think this awareness we been through right now will dictate the end of the fashion hauls that I really like to watch on Youtube? The truth is that these videos have become less and less. I can speak for myself, I feel that doing the wishlist posts or the 'new in' with the things I've bought recently don't make much sense anymore. I love doing them because I really like sharing that kind of things with you, but I don't like feeling like I'm pushing consumerism. But on the other hand, this that I'm doing is directly related to clothes and how much would you enjoy a post with clothes that you can't buy anymore? I have to be honest here: I have stopped buying clothes with bad quality fabrics and I'm more and more into vintage, but I will never stop buying at fast fashion stores. I love clothes and sometimes a new piece of clothing in our wardrobe is all we need to feel inspired again. Maybe that piece is vintage, maybe it's not, but I would like to know if you still want me to share that with you or not. I'll be waiting for your opinion.

Mais algumas fotos que tenho guardadas no Instagram. Às vezes, quando a inspiração é escassa, é mesmo a esta pasta que recorro e resulta sempre. Tenho adorado descobrir novas combinações de cores e experimentá-las em diferentes outfits e esta é uma delas: cor-de-rosa com bege. Uma combinação perfeita para a Primavera. E uma conta que gosto muito onde publicam diferentes ideias de outfits frequentemente é a @vergegirl. É uma marca de roupa, mas gosto imenso dos diferentes outfits que criam e que partilham, muito inspirador!

Some photos that I've been saving on Instagram. Sometimes when I'm not feeling very inspired, I always take a look at this folder and it works most of the times. I've been loving finding new colour combinations and trying them out in different outfits and this is one of them: pink and beige. A colour combo perfect for Spring. And an account that I really like for the different outfits they share is @vergegirl. It's a clothing brand but I really like the different outfits they create and share, very inspiring!

Quando foi a última vez que estiveste sozinho com os teus pensamentos? Sem qualquer dispositivo a entreter-te, sem qualquer feed para fazer scroll infinito e sem música de fundo a tocar. Apenas tu e os teus pensamentos. Cada vez temos mais a necessidade de estar a ser constantemente entretidos por algo e perdemos esta habilidade de estar apenas concentrados naquilo que vai na nossa cabeça. Mas acreditem em mim, pode ser bastante divertido. A maior parte das pessoas tem as suas melhores ideias no banho, já pensaram porquê? Exactamente por aquilo que falei em cima, porque, normalmente, são apenas vocês e os vossos pensamentos. A mim isto acontece-me constantemente, aliás, a ideia para escrever este post aconteceu exactamente no banho. Por isso desafio-vos: a próxima vez que sairem à rua sozinhos, deixem os phones em casa e façam o vosso caminho sem qualquer música ou podcast a tocar. Eu vou fazer o mesmo!

When was the last time you were alone with your own thoughts? I mean, with no device to entertain you, with no feed to scroll or with no music playing. Just you and your thoughts. More and more we have the need to be constantly entertained by something and we lose this ability to only focus on what's going on in your minds. But believe me, it can be quite fun. Most people have their best ideas while in the show, ever wonder why? Exactly because of what I was saying, because it's just us and our thoughts. This happens to me all the time actually, I had the idea to write this post exactly while in the shower. So I dare you: next time you get out on your own, leave your headphones at home and walk around with no music of podcast playing. I will do the same!

Tenho a certeza que vocês, tal como eu, consomem bastante conteúdo no Youtube. Eu passo imenso tempo por lá e guardo sempre algum tempo do meu dia para ver vídeos e para me actualizar nos novos vídeos dos meus youtubers favoritos. Claro que o conteúdo que mais vejo é relacionado com moda, mas não só. Tenho imensos canais que gosto e, por gostar de tantos, decidi partilhar com vocês o meu top 5. Confesso que foi bastante difícil escolher apenas cinco, mas estes são aqueles canais que gosto mesmo muito. Partilhem comigo quais os vossos youtubers favoritos, adorava descobrir canais novos!

I'm pretty sure that just like me you can spend quite some time on Youtube. I always reserve a few minutes of my day to watch some videos and to update myself on the new videos from my favourite YouTubers. Of course, the majority of the content that I watch is fashion related, but it's not only that. There are a lot of channels that I follow and for liking so many I decided to share my top 5. I must confess that was quite hard to narrow it down to only five, but these are the ones that I really like. Share with me your favourite YouTubers, I would love to find new channels!


Começo com um canal que nada tem a ver com moda, mas os vídeos são super divertidos. Vejam o título dos diferentes vídeos que podem encontrar no canal e vão perceber do que estou a falar. Desde blind dates a jogos de fear pong, garanto-vos umas boas gargalhadas com qualquer um dos vídeos.

I start with a channel that has nothing to do with fashion, but the videos are really fun to watch. Just read some of the titles of the different videos and you will understand what I mean. From blind dates to games of pear pong, I can guarantee you some good laughs while watching these videos.


Já falei da Lizzy por aqui várias vezes, até porque é das minhas bloggers favoritas, mas o seu canal de Youtube não fica nada atrás. Gosto imenso dos vlogs que faz, mas também gosto muito de uma série chamada 'Testing Basics' onde testa diferentes peças de roupa de várias marcas, mostrando quais as melhores conforme a relação qualidade/preço.

I already talked about Lizzy here quite a few times, she's one of my favourite bloggers, but her Youtube channel is equally good. I really enjoy her vlogs, but also really like a series she does call 'Testing Basics' where she tests different pieces of clothing from different brands and tells you which ones are the best based on the price and quality.


Mais um canal muito focado em moda, mas o que realmente me prende a este canal são os vlogs, é mesmo o meu conteúdo favorito. A Emma é uma britânica cheia de graça o que faz com que os seus vlogs sejam bastante divertidos de ver.

Another fashion-related channel, but what I enjoy the most on this channel are the vlogs, it really is my favourite kind of content. Emma is a very funny British girl which makes her vlogs really fun to watch.


O canal The LineUp começou com duas raparigas, a Julia e a Maya, mas de há uns meses para cá que o canal ficou a cargo apenas da Julia e tenho gostado muito da direcção que ela lhe está a dar. Vídeos com uma qualidade incrível e com uma edição impecável. Relacionado com moda, mas o conteúdo é mesmo muito inspirador.

The LineUp started it up with two girls, Julia and Maya, but a few months ago they split and now it's only under Julia and I really like the direction she is taking it. The videos have really good quality and the edition is flawless. Very fashion based, but the content is really inspiring.
Jon Olsson

E, se tal como eu gostam de ver vlogs, têm de seguir o Jon Olsson.  O canal é completamente dedicado a vlogs e desenganem-se se pensam que deve ser um canal bem aborrecido. O Jon viaja imenso e podem acompanhar todas essas viagens nos vídeos. Além disso, os vlogs têm uma qualidade incrível.

And if just like me you really like watching vlogs then you have to follow Jon Olsson. All the videos are vlogs and don't think it might be very boring because of that. Jon travels a lot and you can follow all the trips on these videos. And the vlogs have the best quality ever.

Um pouco na continuação DESTE post onde vos contei qual será a minha vibe para a próxima estação, estes sapatos vão ser os meus melhores aliados para alcançar essa estética de que vos falei. Na verdade, já os viram por aqui, porque quando os comprei tive logo de os estrear, mas, de facto, são novos e tenho a certeza que os vou usar imenso. Podem encontrá-los AQUI. Quanto ao conforto, tenho de confessar que a primeira vez que os usei magoaram-me um pouco, mas, assim que se moldaram ao meu pé, ficaram impecáveis, já não me aleijam nada.

A bit as a continuation of THIS post where I told you about my vibe for the next season, these shoes are going to be my best friends to achieve that look. The truth is that I already wore them on a few outfits, because when I bought them I just had to wear them right away, but they are new to my closet and I'm sure I'm going to wear them a lot. You can find them HERE. When it comes to comfort I have to confess that they hurt my feet a little when I first wore them but after breaking them in they are perfect now, don't hurt at all.




O tacão por não ser muito alto e por ser um block-heel também faz destes sapatos uns sapatos muito fáceis de andar. Também gosto muito deste modelo de sapatos, porque o pé pontiagudo faz com que alonguem as pernas e quem não quer isso, certo? Mal posso esperar por criar diferentes outfits com eles, tanto com saias como com calças, porque, afinal de contas, uns sapatos pretos ficam bem com tudo.


The heel is not too high and it's also a block-heel which makes them really easy to walk in. I'm also a fan of this kind of shoe because of the pointy toe which makes legs look longer and who doesn't want that, right? I can't wait to create outfits with them, both with jeans and skirts, because after all, a pair of black pumps look good with anything.

This year I really want to read more and I'm on a good track. I'm on the third book of the year (I know it's not a lot, but for me is quite good) and I have loads of other books I want to read. So today I'll be sharing with you the books that are on my reading list and that I can't wait to start reading. If I enjoy them, I'll share everything with you then. This is definitely something I want to bring more often to the blog, I hope you like it.

Why Social Media Is Ruining Your Life

Este livro da Katherine Ormerod tanto está na minha lista, como é o livro que estou a ler neste momento. Ainda me faltam algumas páginas para acabar, mas estou a gostar bastante. Mostra todas as diferentes formas como as redes sociais afectam a nossa vida e a sociedade em que vivemos. Não é de todo um ataque às redes sociais, mas sim uma forma de percebermos como melhorar a nossa relação com as mesmas.

This book by Katherine Ormerod is not only on my reading list, but it's actually the book I'm currently reading. I'm still a few pages away to finish it, but I'm really liking it. It shows all the different ways of how social media is affecting our lives and the society we live in. It's definitely not an attack on social media, but a way to understand how we can get a better relationship with them.

Not That Kind Of Girl

Chegou ontem e é o próximo livro que vou ler. Desde que vi Girls, uma série que gostei muito, que fiquei fã do trabalho da Lena Dunham. Já é um livro de 2014, mas na altura foi intitulado como o livro mais divertido do ano e mal posso esperar por o começar ler. É um conjunto de ensaios autobiográficos e, tal como a Lena já nos habituou, tenho a certeza que é um livro bem controverso.

This book arrived yesterday and it's the next one on the list. Since I watched Girls, a TV series that I really liked, that I've been a fan of Lena Dunham's work. It's a book from 2014, but at the time was named as the funniest book of the year and I can't wait to start reading it. It's a collection of autobiographical essays and like all the work by Lena, I'm sure it's a very controversial book.


Feminists Don't Wear Pink (And Other Lies)

Sempre tive curiosidade em aprender mais sobre o feminismo, pois penso que hoje em dia ainda há bastantes pessoas muito "agarradas" a noções antigas de feminismo. Este livro reúne um conjunto de ensaios de diferentes mulheres sobre o feminismo e tenho a certeza que me vai ajudar a perceber melhor este conceito e que o significa ser feminista nos dias de hoje.

I was always very interested in learning more about feminism because I feel that nowadays there are still a lot of people thinking about feminism in a very ancient way. This book is a collection of essays by different women about feminism and I'm sure is going to help me to understand this concept a bit better and to understand what it means to be a feminist nowadays.

Há qualquer coisa em encontrar peças vintage que é super gratificante para mim. Não sei se é pelo simples facto de saber que estou a fazer algo de bom pelo o ambiente, ou porque são peças únicas, mas encontrar peças vintage traz-me um pequeno sentimento de felicidade. E estas calças são um exemplo disso mesmo. Na verdade, não fui eu que as encontrei, a Marta tem muito mais jeito em encontrar estas preciosidades, mas encontrou-me então dois pares de calças straight-leg em bombazine. Uma delas são estas que estou a usar. Apesar de não ser a maior fã de castanho, gostei bastante deste tom e também adorei o facto de serem um pouco mais compridas. As outras têm também uma cor linda e lembram-me muito umas calças que andei à procura na &OtherStories (estas), mas essas ficam para um outro post. Aproveito também para vos dizer que a Humana já começou a sua época de descontos, por isso se tiverem uma loja perto de vocês aproveitem. Estas calças são de lá e custaram-me apenas 3€, mas os preços ainda vão descer mais. Vocês também gostam de roupa vintage? Contem-me tudo!

There's something about finding vintage pieces that is very fulfilling to me. I don't know if it's because I know I'm doing something good to the environment or simply because they are unique pieces, but finding good vintage pieces can bring me a lot of joy. And these trousers are a good example of that. Actually, I didn't find them, Marta has a really good eye for this kind of treasures, but she found two pairs of straight-leg corduroy trousers for me. One of them are the ones I'm wearing here. Although I'm not the biggest fan of brown, I really like this tone and also love that they're longer than usual. The other pair also have a gorgeous colour and they really remind me of a pair I was looking for from &OtherStories (these ones), but I'll show them to you on another post. I also take this chance to tell you that if by any chance you have a Humana store in your city, they already started with their sales. These trousers I've bought there for only 3€, but the prices will get even cheaper. Do you like vintage clothing? Tell me everything!

Mais uma ronda de 'Disposable Series' e desta vez tem fotos que adoro e talvez a minha foto favorita de sempre. Como já disse no meu Instagram, esta primeira foto é, provavelmente, das melhores fotos que já tirei. Eu pelo menos adoro-a. Primeiro a Casa da Música é um sítio que adoro e juntar isso a um pôr-do-sol num dia que já sabia a Verão resultou nesta foto. Está longe de estar perfeita, mas já como dizia a Marilyn Monroe a perfeição é aborrecida e eu adoro todas as imperfeições desta foto. Mas vejam o resto do post que tem muitas outras fotos de que também gosto muito. Espero que gostem!

Another round of 'Disposable Series' and this time it has some photos that I really love and probably my favourite photo ever. As I already told you over on my Instagram, this might be the best photo that I have ever taken. I don't know about you, but I love it. First of all, it was taken at Casa da Música that is a place that I really like and that together with the most amazing sunset light, it turned out into this photo. It's far from being perfect, but like Marilyn Monroe once said perfection is boring and I love all the imperfections of this photo. But there are more photos on this post that I also really like. Hope you like them too!

Já há algum tempo que não vos trazia uma wishlist, mas no mês passado, apesar de ter falhado o desafio de não comprar nada, continuei a tentar reduzir as minhas compras, portanto também evitei visitar as lojas online. No entanto, com a chegada do tempo mais quente, também aumenta a vontade de comprar roupa nova para a estação que se avizinha e estas são algumas peças que não me importava nada de ter. Gosto imenso de todas, mas aquelas que estou mesmo a ponderar comprar são as calças e as sandálias. As calças porque já tenho este modelo numa outra cor e são dos meus jeans favoritos de sempre e, como já sei o meu tamanho, apesar de não termos a loja em Portugal, posso encomendar online. As sandálias também as adoro, mas quero experimentá-las em loja, porque não sei até que ponto o tacão é confortável. E vocês, gostam destas peças?

It has been a while since I did a wishlist, but last month although I failed the challenge of not buying anything, I still tried to reduce my shopping and therefore I avoided all the online stores. However, with the arrival of the warmer weather, I really feel like adding some new bits to my closet for the new season and these are some of the pieces that I really wouldn't mind having. I like them all, but I'm really thinking about buying the jeans and the sandals. The jeans because I already have ones in this fit in another colour and they are one of my favourite jeans ever and since I already know my size, I can order them online since we don't have the store here in Portugal. The sandals I also love them, but I really want to go to a store and try them on, because I don't know how comfortable that heel is. But what about you? Do you like these pieces?

Mostrava-vos quando ia fotografar, coisas que recebia (a.k.a blogger mail) e as minhas viagens. Quando viajo ainda gosto de as fazer quase como se fosse um vlog, até porque é uma excelente forma de relembrar a viagem, mas é apenas isso. Today I need your help. A while ago when Instagram Stories first came up I was quite active over there. I showed you when I was shooting, things that I got (a.k.a blogger mail) and my trips. But then I started feeling like I was always sharing the same things over and over again and simply stopped doing them. When I travel I still enjoy doing them almost like it was a vlog because it's actually a pretty great way to remember the trip, but that's it. Desculpem a quantidade de post relacionados com cabelo e penteados ultimamente, mas cada vez gosto mais de experimentar diferentes penteados e tem sido bastante divertido experimentar um diferente conforme o outfit que estou a usar. E hoje tenho para vocês três penteados diferentes e apenas precisam de um acessório: um scrunchie. Ora aqui estão os três penteados.

I'm so sorry for the amount of hair related posts lately, but I've been loving to experiment with different hairstyles and it's has been really fun to try a new one according to the outfit I'm wearing. And today I have for you three different hairstyles and you only need one accessory: a scrunchie. So here are the three hairstyles.

The Pony Tail

Este é o penteado mais simples e também aquele que eu mais uso. Não tem grande ciência. É apenas pegar no scrunchie e apanhar o cabelo. Eu gosto sempre que fique com um ar mais messy, por isso deixo alguns cabelos da frente fora do apanhado e solto sempre um bocadinho o cabelo na parte de cima da cabeça para não ficar tão apertado.

This is the easiest hairstyle to do and also the one that I use the most. There's no science behind it. You just need to get a scrunchie and put your hair up in a ponytail. I really like when it looks a bit messy so I always leave some hair out of the ponytail and lose it up the hair on the top of the hair so it doesn't look as tight.

The Low Bun


Este é para mim o mais chic de todos os penteados e, não me perguntem porquê, adoro ver com vestidos midi. Apenas têm de pegar no cabelo como se fossem apanhar o cabelo, torcem esse mesmo apanhado e vão dando voltas até formar o bun. Depois basta porem o scrunchie para o apanhado ficar no sítio.

To me, this is one is really chic and don't ask me why, but I really like to see it with midi dresses. You just have to get your hair like you were doing a low ponytail and twist that hair until you get a bun. Then you just have to get it in place with your scrunchie.

The Half-Up, Half-Down


Este é um penteado que me lembra muito os anos 70 e também muito fácil de fazer.  Deixem também alguns cabelos soltos na parte da frente e apanhem o resto do cabelo da frente com o vosso scrunchie na parte de trás no cabeça. Funciona com cabelo esticado ou ondulado, mas para conseguirem aquele look mesmo dos anos 70 façam umas ondas soltas, fica super giro.

This is a hairstyle that really reminds me of the '70s and it's also very easy to do. Leave some hair hanging on the front and the rest of the hair get it behind your head with your scrunchie. It works both with straight or wavy hair, but to get the real '70s vibes, go for some loose waves, it looks super cute.
