Continuando com os nossos dias por Lisboa, hoje vou-vos mostrar o que andámos a fazer no segunda dia, sexta-feira. Queríamos começar o dia com um excelente pequeno-almoço, por isso, antes de tudo, fomos ao Fauna & Flora que já estava desejosa para conhecer, ainda esta semana sai um post sobre este café. Ainda conseguimos ir a uma loja vintage mesmo em frente ao café, mas depois seguimos logo para Cascais para passarmos lá parte da manhã e da tarde. Cascais é um sítio que gosto sempre de visitar, então agora no Verão tem uma vibe mesmo muito fixe e é mesmo muito bonito, quase que nem parece que estamos em Portugal (as fotos do outfit que postei ontem foram fotografadas lá btw). E, facilmente, chegam do centro de Lisboa lá, basta apanhar o comboio e em cerca de 30 minutos estão em Cascais. Infelizmente, o tempo não esteve do nosso lado e durante a tarde começou a chover o que nos estragou um pouco os planos, mas mesmo assim conseguímos fazer tudo o que queríamos. Regressámos a Lisboa e, antes de nos irmos trocar para o outfit para o jantar (era o aniversário da Marta e tinhamos de celebrar com um excelente jantar), ainda conseguimos ir aos Pastéis de Belém. Já não ía lá há anos, mas os pastéis continuam deliciosos, são dos poucos doces que eu gosto. Quanto à escolha do sítio para jantar, essa já foi um pouco mais díficil, mas acabámos por ir ao Popolo em Santos. Já tinha ouvido falar imenso deste restaurante e não desapontou. O espaço é muito agradável e dá para passar lá umas excelentes horas, nós conversámos tanto que ficámos quase até ao fecho. E aqui está mais um excelente dia passado em Lisboa. And here we go with our days in Lisbon and today I'm going to share with you our second day over there, Friday. We wanted to start the day with an amazing breakfast, so before anything else, we went to Fauna & Flora that I was really excited to know, still this week it's going to be a post about this café online. We still managed to go to a vintage store right in front of the café, but right after we headed to Cascais to spend there part of the morning and afternoon. Cascais is a place that I always like to visit, especially now on Summer, it has a very unique vibe and it's so so pretty, it almost feels like you are in another city outside the country (the photos from yesterday's outfit post were shot in there). And you can easily get there from Lisbon, you just have to catch the train and in around 30 minutes you're there. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side and in the afternoon it started raining what kind ruined a few of our plans, but we still managed to do everything we wanted to. We went back to Lisbon and before changing to our dinner outfit (it was Marta's birthday so we had to celebrate it with an amazing dinner), we went to Pastéis de Belém. I haven't been there in years, but the cakes are still delicious, they're one of the few sweets that I actually tolerate. To choose the place to have dinner was quite hard, but we ended up going to Popolo in Santos. It has a very nice environment and you can spend there hours and hours, we talked so much that we stayed there almost until it closed. And here is another well spent day in Lisbon. Apesar de nem sempre parecer, o Verão está oficialmente aí, o que é sinónimo de dias de praia e férias (pelo menos para alguns). Se fazem parte dos que vão de férias para algum sítio paradisíaco com praias fantásticas, hoje tenho para vocês aquelas peças de roupa que levo sempre comigo se for fazer esse tipo de férias. Não vos vou falar de swimwear e da roupa que precisam para levar para a praia, mas vou-vos falar daquelas peças que levam quando vão jantar fora depois de um dia de praia ou quando vão explorar a cidade onde estão.

 Although it doesn't always feel like it, Summer is officially here and that also means beach days and vacations (at least for some). If you're part of the lucky ones that are going on vacation for some beachy paradise, today I have for you those piece of clothing that I always take with me if I'm going that kind of vacation. I'm not going to talk about swimwear and clothes that you need to wear to the beach, I'm going to share with you those clothes that are perfect for those dinners out after a beach day or if you're going to explore the city you are in.  

 WHITE SHIRT WITH NICE DETAILS
Já sabem que sou fã de camisas bracas, mas o Verão pede sempre algo mais fresco e playful, por isso levo sempre uma camisa branca, porque é um básico que fica bem com tudo, mas sempre uma que tenha um detalhe diferente. Talvez uma que seja off-the-shoulder ou então uma com um decote diferente.
You know I'm a fan of the white shirt, but Summer always asks for something a bit more breezy and playful, so I always like to take a white shirt with me because it's a basic that looks good with anything, but always with a different detail. You can go for an off-the-shoulder shirt or one with a different neckline.

 DENIM SKIRT
Acho que é das peças que uso mais durante o Verão, por isso uma saia de ganga tem sempre de vir comigo. Podem usar durante o dia de uma forma mais casual, mas com um top diferente e uns acessórios mais statement também conseguem facilmente adequá-la para uma saída à noite.
I think it's one of the pieces that I wear the most on Summer, so a denim skirt has always to come with me. You can wear it in a more casual way during the day, but with a different top and some statement accessories you can easily take it to a night out as well.

 FLOWY MIDI DRESS
Os vestidos são super práticos agora para o Verão, então se escolherem um mais comprido e bem solto e leve, garanto-vos que vai ser o vosso melhor amigo durante as férias. Além de não terem de pensar muito como o combinar (é só uma peça, não há grande ciência), também vão estar sempre super confortáveis.
Dresses are very practical for Summer, so if you choose one that it's a bit longer and really flowy I assure you that it's going to be your best friend during your vacations. Besides not having to think a lot on how to wear it (it's one piece, that's it), you will always be very comfortable.

 STRAW BAGS
E por um, um acessório que no ano passado esteve super na moda e continua em força - as malas de palha. Não sou a maior fã, mas acho que em certos contextos funcionam muito bem e nada melhor do que as usar numas férias de praia e trazer uma vibe bem Jane Birkin.
And lastly, an accessory that last year was super trendy and this year keeps going strong - straw bags. I'm not the biggest fan, but I think that in certain situations they work really well and noting better than wearing them on a beach vacation channeling the gorgeous Jane Birkin.

Já vos tinha dito por aqui que, para mim, a melhor forma de descobrirmos uma cidade e de realmente nos sentir-mos como um local é ficar num apartamento. Ficamos então num dos The Lisbon-Way Apartments e não podíamos ter escolhido melhor. Como podem ver pelas fotos, fica em Belém e de um lado tínhamos vista para o rio e para a Torre de Belém e do outro lado para o Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. Além de termos imensa coisa que queríamos visitar por perto, também em 10 minutos conseguíamos ir para o centro, os transportes ficam muito perto do apartamento. A decoração também era fantástica, muito simples e minimalista, mas com tudo o que poderíamos precisar. Uma cozinha completamente equipada, uma sala de estar enorme com uma área para refeições, os quartos também muito confortáveis (um deles tinha uma pequena varanda) e as camas gigantes. Foi mesmo o sítio perfeito para ficarmos estes dias em Lisboa, senti-me mesmo em casa!

I already told you here that to me the best way to discover a city and to really feel like a local is to stay at an apartment. We stayed at The Lisbon-Way Apartments and we couldn't have chosen better.  As you can see by the photos, it's in Belém and from one side we had a view to the river and Belém Tower and on the other side to Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. Besides having a lot of things we wanted to visit around, we could also go to central in just 10 minuts, the transports are really close to the apartment as well. The decor was also amazing, very simple and minimalistic, but with everything you might need. A kitchen fully equipped, a huge living room with a dining area, very comfortable bedrooms (one of them had a small balcony) and huge beds. It really was the perfect place to stay during our days in Lisbon, I really felt at home!

Aqui estão as fotos do primeiro dia em Lisboa! Foram três dias que passaram a correr, mas, mesmo assim, conseguimos fazer e ver imensa coisa. Depois da viagem e deixarmos as malas no nosso apartamento, seguimos para o Cais do Sodré onde almoçamos. Fomos ao Comoba, daqueles sítios que vemos no instagram e que são tão bonitos que queremos experimentar, mas mais sobre isso num outro post. Depois seguimos para o Chiado. Podem fazer esta viagem de metro, mas não é assim tão longa e descobrem sítios bem bonitos se o fizerem a pé. Queríamos muito ter uma boa vista para a cidade de Lisboa, por isso decidimos subir até ao Castelo de S.Jorge. Na Rua dos Franqueiros encontram um elevador gratuito que vos liga até à Rua da Madalena e depois é só apanhar um segunda elevador (gratuito também) no Mercado do Chão do Loureiro (fica mesmo dentro do Pingo Doce que vão encontrar lá). Depois de estarem lá em cima, é uma zona muito gira para explorar. Nós fomos até ao Café da Garagem que tem uma vista incrível sobre Lisboa e caminhamos também até ao Miradouro da Graça. Depois voltámos para a Baixa, onde comemos um gelado e, claro, demos uma vista de olhos nas lojas que por lá há (depois mostro-vos também o que comprei). Espero que gostem das fotos!

Here are the photos from our first day in Lisbon! We were there for three days that flew by, but we still managed to see and do a lot of things. After the trip and after leaving all our bags on our apartment, we headed to Cais do Sodré where we had lunch. We went to Comoba, one of those places that you see on instagram all the time and it's so nice that you have to try, but more about it on another post. After that we went to Chiado. You can do this by subway, but it's not a very long ride and by walk you can see such nice places and explore way more. We really wanted a nice view over Lisbon, so we decided to go up to S.Jorge Castle. On the Franqueiros street you can find a lift that will take you to Madalena street for free and then you just have to catch another lift (free as well) on the Chão do Loureiro Market (it's right inside of the Pingo Doce supermarket). After being up there, it's a very nice area to walk around and explore. We went to Café da Garagem that has an amazing view over Lisbon and walked into Miradouro da Graça. Then we went back to downtown where we ate an ice cream and of course we had to look around at some shops (I'll show you what I bought later). I hope you like the photos!

Sair da nossa cidade, mesmo que seja só por alguns dias, pode ser o melhor remédio para ficarmos com uma nova dose de inspiração. Ao irmos para uma cidade nova, parece que temos infinitas opções para criar conteúdo novo. Só o simples facto de podermos fotografar em sítios novos, diferentes daqueles a que já estamos habituadas, dá-me logo muito mais vontade de explorar e criar conteúdo. Esta viagem foi excelente para isso. Já perdi a conta das vezes que visitei Lisboa, mas desta vez acabamos por ir a sítios que nunca tinha ido (mais sobre isso nos diários que vou fazer) e são sítios tão bonitos e inspiradores que é impossível não tirar fotos para partilhar com vocês. É mesmo muito bom quando se sentem orgulhosos do conteúdo que criaram e querem partilhar tudo! Mas tem de ser um post de cada vez e aqui está o outfit que usei no primeiro dia. Espero que gostem!
Getting out of our city, even if it's only for a few days, it can be the best solution to be inspired all over again. Just by going to a new city, it feels like you have loads of options to create new content. Only knowing that you can shoot in new places, different from the ones where you usually shoot, already gets me really excited to explore and create content. This trip was perfect for that. I already lost count on how many times I've been to Lisbon, but this time we went to places that I have never been to before (more about it on the diaries I'm going to do) and the places were so beautiful and inspiring that was impossible not to take photos to share with you. It really is really good when you feel proud with the content you created and you feel like sharing everything! But one step at the time and here is the outfit I wore on the first day. Como sabem, sou fã do no makeup makeup look que, por outras palavras, é uma maquilhagem bastante natural. Um dos principais produtos que se dá bastante atenção quando queres este tipo de maquilhagem é a base, porque a pele tem de ter um aspecto bastante natural, mas bonito ao mesmo tempo. E, finalmente, encontrei as bases que me dão exactamente esse look. São as duas da Maybelline, mas de gamas diferentes. Mas o que eu tenho feito é misturar as duas. A Fit Me é a que me ajuda a ter um aspecto mais natural e glowy e a Dream Velvet ajuda-me a ter mais cobertura na pele o que é excelente para disfarçar algumas imperfeições, como é o caso de algumas borbulhas ou marcas que tenha na pele. Mas digam-me, já experimentaram alguma destas bases? O que acharam?

As you know, I'm a fan of the no makeup makeup look that also means that I love a very natural makeup. One of the main products that you have to pay a lot of attention when you're trying to achieve this look is the foundation, because the skin has to look very natural, but also has to look good. And I finally found the foundations that give me exactly that look. But what I've been doing is mixing the two together. I'm talking about this two foundations by Maybelline, but from two different ranges. Fit Me helps me to get a very natural and glowy look and Dream Velvet gives a bit more coverage which is perfect to cover some imperfections like pimples or spots that you may have in your skin.
