After sharing with you my top three favourite red lipsticks (you can read the post HERE), it's time to share with you my favourites when it comes to nude lipsticks. Finding a nude lipstick that looks good with our skin tone can be as hard as finding a red one, but when you find it it's true love, believe me, it will be your best friend. It's perfect for those days that you want something a bit softer, but it still gives some color to your lips. This are my favourites!

LIP LINGERIE IN PUSH-UP BY NYX COSMETICS
Usually I always go for a lipstick in a stick, I'm not much of a fan of the liquid lipsticks, but when I tried this one I was sold. With a matte finish, the color is very nice and it lasts a long time.

HD WEIGHTLESS MATTE LIPSTICK IN PURE ROSE BY FLORMAR
I confess that I didn't have high expectations with this lipstick, but when I tried it out I became a fan. It definitely has a pink tone that it's not the thing that I usually like the most, but it looks really beautiful on the lips anyway. As the name says, it's a very light lipstick so it looks really natural on the lips which I love.

VELVET TEDDY BY MAC
And last, but not least, the one I use the most. It really is my everyday lipstick and it's always with me on my bag. Comparing with the other ones, this is a bit more brown, but it still looks very natural.

I've been to Topshop several times, but only this last time I went to London (we still don't have a Topshop store here in Portugal) I decided to buy a pair of jeans from the brand and test myself if they are as good as everyone says they are. So this is the pair I bought, they are the MOTO Raw Straight Leg Jeans and I bought them at the Petite section. On a side note, thank you so much Topshop for reminding that not all of us are 6'0 ft tall, so this was already a big plus. Finding a pair of jeans that are exactly my size and that I wouldn't have to cut almost half the fabric to get them by ankle lenght is not an easy task, but Topshop nailed it. So they fit really really well and they sure make me feel good, sometimes with high waisted jeans in order to get a straight leg look, the waist gets really loose, but this doesn't happen with this pair, the waist is tight and leg as straight as it should be. I checked the clothing label to compare with the &OtherStories jeans that I bought and I must say they are not the best quality ever and althought they are quite expensive, I still think they have a good price/quality ratio. So the conclusion is: I absolutely love them! I'm just very sad that I don't have a Topshop nearby so I could buy this same jeans in other shades. Topshop once revealed that they sell a pair of jeans every 10 seconds and now I can understand why! Tell me, do you own a pair of Topshop jeans?

We are back with the 'week on film'! After my trip to London they were a bit on standby, the weather wasn't that good either, but I'm going to begin to post them again every week. The Sun is back and I couldn't be more happy about it, it finally looks like Spring and so I've been able to shoot some outfits to share with you. I would also like to do more posts with film photography, I already have some ideas in mind, but tell me, is that something you would like to see? And if you have something that you would like to see more often here, please leave it on the comments, ideas are always welcome! Well, I hope you like the photos and have a great day!

Some time ago I shared with you my favourite coffee places here in Porto, but there are so many new ones that the list just keeps growing. So I decided to do a second part of this post with some more suggestions for you. Tell me if you have ever been at any of this and which one was your favourite!

A café where everything is made with natural ingredients and the options are all very healthy, and I haven't talk about their amazing deco. If you ever go there, pass the counter area and you'll find an amazing room full of velvet couches.

The main reason why I like Brando so much is because it's a bit far way from the city center (but not too much), which makes it a very relaxed and quiet place. Besides that, their specialty is the coffee, so you can enjoy an amazing freshly made cappuccino.

I remember going to Progresso café back in the day (it's one of the oldest cafés in town) so it's funny to see how much has changed and how kept up with time. The coffee keeps being amazing, but a new dish they added to the menu that I really likde is the pizza.

Here is one of the skirts that I told I have bought quite some time ago, finally good weather so I can wear all those pieces, all the skirts and dresses. If there's a piece of clothing that always makes me feel super good (although on windy days this changes completely) is a mini skirt. Not being too tall (just not to say that I'm actually short), a mini skirt especially if it's high waisted can always create the illusion that you have longer legs than what you actually have, honestly, who doesn't want that? They are also very versatile. Let's not include the denim skirts here, but this skirt I'm wearing can easily be worn very casually, but also to a different occasion, you just have to change the other pieces and ths shoes. So, thank you so much Mary Quant for creating such a nice piece of clothing that I like so much and that it's still an icon this days, long live the mini skirt! And what about you, are you also a fan of the mini skirt?

Today is Mother's Day and althought I have the opinion that this days are created just for commercial and consumerist reasons, today I'm going to share with you the style lessons my mom taught me through this years. I think that one way or another our moms always end up influencing our styles, so here a few things my mom has taught me about personal style!

FLATS ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS
Just like my mom, you will never see me wearing high heels. Comfort is the most important thing and so flat shoes, from the sneakers to the more classic shoe, are your best friends.

LESS IS ALWAYS MORE
Simple pieces are always going to be on your closet, because they're timeless. And don't go crazy with the accessories, after all less is more and minimalist is never going to be out of fashion.

NEUTRAL COLORS ALWAYS LOOK GOOD
A lot of times when I look to my mom's outfit and I look at myself, we are frequently wearing the same colors, this because when it comes to clothing we are both fans of neutral colors - black, white, grey and nude. This are colors that always look good and easy to mix and match.

NEVER LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT SUNGLASSES
I think that nowadays sunglasses are my favourite accessory, because since a very young age I remember my mom wearing them and never leaving the house without a pair on her bag. Now I'm just like that and even on rainy days I never leave the house without a pair.

A decade that always inspires me a lot when it comes to fashion is the 70s and I think that unconsciously I always bring a bit of that decade into my and outfits and this was one of them. Honestly, I just wanted to wear my new jeans (that I bought in London btw) that I ended up paring together with one of my favourite t-shirts, a belt with my favourite print on it (same old, same old) and black boots, really simple. But when I saw the whole outfit together I realized it had a lot of this decade that I love so much. From the lettering of the t-shirt to the fit of the jeans, what else screams so much 70s as a pair of flare jeans? And of course I also have a style icon from this time that always inspires me a lot, I'm talking of course about Jane Birkin, have you seen how her style is so timeless? And looks like nowadays she keeps inspiring a lot of people, the bangs that were her trade image were the haircut of the season, the bucket bags that she took with her everywhere are in every store, so I think I can say that the 70s are here to stay and I couldn't be more happy about it!

- 1.HERE | 2.HERE | 3.HERE | 4.HERE | 5.HERE -

Qual é a vossa preferida?

As I told you, I already did some cleaning on my closet for the upcoming season and so there's always something that lacks after doing that (there's also always a reason to go shopping), but this are the things that I'm really "in need of" right now. A more lightweight jacket for the Spring weather and for those chilly Summer nights. T-shirts, because I live in them on this seasons and because they are never too many, I like them really oversized and with different logos. I also already told that this Summer I'm going to wear my denim skirts a lot and right now I don't have one in a darker denim. And lastly this two accessories, a bag and a belt. So, what do you think, would you buy any of this pieces? Which one is your favourite?

With the arrival of a new season and the transition to a warmer weather, it's also time to take the warm clothes out of our closet and get the fresh and lightweight pieces for Spring. With this change on your closet, it's also the perfect time to do some cleaning and only keep the clothes that you really wear. I did this this week and so I have for you three steps that you can follow that will make your life way easier.

FOLLOW THE "ONE YEAR" RULE
We all have those pieces of clothing on our closet that we don't wear in ages, but for some reason we think our opinion about them might change and so they stay there forever. The truth is if you didn't wear it on the last year, the probability of wearing it again is minimun, those are the clothes that you definitely have to take out of your closet.

ORGANIZATION IS THE KEY
With all the cleaning, you can take the chance to also organize your clothes. I always like to have my clothes separated by pieces, on one side I have the jeans, on another the dresses and so on. On those "sections" I also separated them by color. This way I always know where I can find the piece I want to wear and makes my life a thousand times easier.

SEPARATE THE UNWANTED CLOTHES
Get three boxes and separate the unwanted clothes on them, one box to toss, another one to donate and other to sell. If the clothes are completely ruined and not wearable at all, they go to the toss box. All the others go to the donate and sell box. On the 19th of May I'm going to be at Flea Market selling some of my clothes, some are actually new, so if you're around Porto come take a look.

I've wanted to bring this topic to blog for quite some time now and 'Coffee Talk' seemed like the perfect place to do it. My point is: I don't think I was made to go to events. Going to events is part of my job as a blogger, you build relationships with potential clients and even know other bloggers which can be great, but the honest truth is that I never feel 100% comfortable on an event. It's amazing when a brand you love invites you to a press day or a bloggers event and when that happens you just can say no, but lately I feel more and more that I don't want to get myself into those kind of situations. I was never good at small talk and I'm an introvert by nature, so on the beggining events were this big scary thing to me. Of course now it doesn't scary me as much, but one thing remains the same, what I really love as a blogger is to create content, to let my creativity grow and share all of that with you. That's what I love doing and that's why I created this blog. Don't get me wrong, I feel really lucky to be doing what I'm doing and to get invites to some amazing events and sometimes I really have a tone of fun at events, but there are other times that I just feel that I don't fit in. I guess it's normal, I think everyone has something they don't enjoy about their job, I think this is mine.

With Summer approaching, it comes a time that I really like, the time of the music festivals. It isn't something new that I love music (it already is one of the categories of the blog) and although I like to see the artist on their own shows, music festivals are a great way to see our favourite bands and maybe also find new ones. This year the festivals here in Portugal have really great lineups, so today I share with you the artists I would like to see. Share with me if you any in common, if you're attending any music festival and who would you like to see!

 FATHER JOHN MISTY
Palavras para quê, right?
Words for what, right? You just have to watch a couple of videos on youtube to realize that Father John Misty perfomances are to leave you with your mouth wide open. His voice, the lyrics, the perfomance, everything gets me super excited to see him at Primavera Sound here in Porto.

LORDE
On the same festival (and even on the same day), but a bit different we have Lorde. Since the launch of her first album I became a fan so I would love to see her live. Also her perfomances are amazing (who doesn't love her dance moves?) so I will try not to miss this opportunity.

HAIM
They were part of the Coachella lineup, but they didn't forget to come to Portugal this Summer, I'm talking about Haim. I confess that the Rock in Rio's lineup never was really my thing, but this year I really wouldn't mind to go and see Haim, the band of the three sisters with amazing songs that I would love to hear live.

JACK WHITE
I'm super fan of Jack White and would love to see him live on the last day of Nos Alive, but unfortunately the tickets are already sold out. His solo albuns are amazing, but from what I already saw he also plays songs from his other bands -crying a little bit- that I'm also a fan of (not only The White Stripes, but also The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather).

KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD
They're coming back to Paredes de Coura (festival where I saw them two years ago) and although I wasn't a fan at the time, they already won my heart. It was one of those bands that I start listening to because I saw them at the festival and now I'm sure I would really love their concert.
