See me wearing a skirt it's quite rare around here (specially during Winter), it's not that I don't like it, but let's be honest, wearing pants is way easier and way more comfortable. But since I'm really into getting out of my comfort zone, I promise I'm going to wear skirts more often this season, at least now I have a little collection of skirts that I really like. But still, there are a few things that always come to our minds when we are wearing a skirt and the dialogue in our heads goes like this: "Damn it, was that just a breeze? This could go bad. And what if I drop something? I can't lean over to pick it out without showing my underwear to the whole world. How on earth can someone ride a bike while wearing a skirt? And if I'm walking up the stairs and someone is walking behind me, are they able to see my underwear? Probably! I should not have worn a skirt today!". Please tell me this doesn't happen only with me and also tell me what you think about the outfit!

Here are some more photos from London, but this time in analog. I took a few more, but it gets dark so early that most of them are very dark (next time I have to use the flash). This ones were taken around Notting Hill (I think you can get it by the colorful houses) and you can see a bit of the outfit I wore on this day, but if you want to see it better, you can see it on THIS photo that I posted on my instagram at the time. You can also check out THIS and THIS post about my days around London, if you haven't seen it yet. I hope you like the photos and have a great day!

Some time ago if you asked me to describe my style I would say that it was very minimalistic and if you follow me for a while now you know it's true, I always chose the clean and minimalistic shapes. That was my comfort zone. I feel that this year my style has really been changing a lot and I came out of my comfort zone somehow, yes, I still love all black outfits and the black and white color combination, but lately I feel that I've been really experimenting with my style. Getting out of your comfort zone can be hard, but I have some tips for you that can help you with that.

- CHECK OUT YOUR CLOSET -
The first thing to do would be to check out your closet, I'm sure you have those favourite pieces that you wear on a daily basis, but what about those that are just hanging there (some maybe with the tag still on) that you've probably wore only once? Challenge yourself to wear one of those pieces and go for combinations that you've never tried before.

- INSPIRATION -
Inspiration is everything and there's nothing like a little round on instagram or pinterest to feel inspired again. Save the outfits that you love the most so when you don't know what to wear and feel like going for your safety options, those outfits are right there to make you feel inspired again.

- EXPERIMENT -

And finally, experiment. Experiment with your style, try something new, maybe a new piece of clothing, a print or a color combination, and most important, have fun with fashion, because that's why we love it so much. Don't take yourself too seriously and express your style.

Last part of my London diary and I don't have that many photos, because on this day we got some rain, but we managed to enjoy our day as well. The morning was spent between two markets: Brick Lane Market and Columbia Road Flower Market. I have already been to the first one, but I always like to go over there and check out the vintage stores around the area. The second one was the first time I've been to and I loved it, it's super cool to see the people buying flowers to take to their homes and even the natural Christmas trees. The distance between the two markets is not too much so you can easily walk between the two. The afternoon was to go shopping so we walked through Convent Garden and of course Oxford Street. The diary with my days has come to an end, but I still have more things from London to show you so stay tuned!

I'm back and we're going to start with all the photos I have to show you from London. This ones are from the first day and as you saw on instagram we started our day in Notting Hill. On Saturdays they have the market on Portobello Road so we had to go there, I have been there a few times before, but I didn't know how big it actually is. Since we were in the neighborhood, I wanted to see the famous florist Wild At Heart. I like this borough of London even more and more, there's always something to see and streets to explore with the most beautiful houses. The idea was to go to Winter Wonderland on the afternoon, but the queue was so long (honestly, the biggest queue I have ever seen) that we decided to go to Carnaby instead and see the Christmas' lights over there. Stay tuned because more posts about London are on their way, I hope you like the photos!
- some beauty products I always carry with me when I travel -

Conhecem estes produtos? Digam-me tudo nos comentários!

Today I'm going back to Porto and I have tons of photos to show you, but before that and since today I'm still doing the trip back home, I decided to show you three products that I always bring with me when I travel. The first one is the dry shampoo by Batiste, perfect for when you're travelling and to keep the hair fresh and with more life. To remove makeup, I always bring my micellar water by Bioderma to dry skin, it makes all the difference in the skin after a day of walking around town. To moisturize I take the Glow Creme by Erborian, one of my favourites and in the perfect size for when I'm travelling. Do you know this products? Tell me on the comments!

They're related to the music world, but they are way more than just musicians. They are artists that inspire me in loads of different ways and who knows they will inspire you as well. These are three female artists with a contagious power that you have to know (if you don't know yet).

- PATTI SMITH -
I already talked about her here on the blog several times, she's the author of my favourite book "Just Kids". But besides being a writer, she's also a singer (maybe the work she's more known for), a poet, a photographer and composer. She became one of the most influential women in the rock history and with 70 years old she's still giving amazing shows.

- ALISON MOSSHART -
I had to include Alison in this list, because since I found her work she has inspired me in so many ways. You may know her from the band The Kills and her live performances are so awesome, I had the chance to see it with my own eyes this Summer and I was just blown away, she's a force of nature. She's also a painter and you can see some of that work on her instagram.

- KIM GORDON -
Another author of a book that I loved, "Girl in a Band". She started her carrer as a visual artist (and she's still doing it), but she will always be remembered as the bassist (and not only) of Sonic Youth. Since the beggining of her carrer in the 80s that Kim Gordon has been a big defender of this girl power movement that it has been feeling now more than ever.

There's a time in your life when you're younger that you always think what are people goint to think about you. It's a time that you stop wearing certain things that you like just because you're afraid people would think you're a freak and just don't wear what you fell like wearing. But there's also a time in your life that you just stop giving a fuck about what people think and you start to really express your style. Wearing this outfit I knew I would get a lot of stares in the street, I get it, there's a lot going on. Leopard print, stripes, a tiger in a t-shirt, socks with starts. I knew people would look at me and guess what, they sure did. And I'm telling you this today, because since I'm in London I always find a huge difference between the people in my town (and even country) and here in London. I always tell this story when I have to find the differences between the two cities. Here in my town if I'm wearing a hat I know people are goint to look at me and sometimes even laugh (I wear it anyway, because you know what: I don't give a fuck). Here in London, the previous time I was here I was wearing a hat and a girl in a store just told me how much she loved my hat, people here in London love and imbrace the difference, being like everyone else in London is boring and that's one of the many reasons why I love this city so much. Everyone is different and no one judge you for that. But enough with all of that, I'm about to leave for my first day of exploring the city. Have a great day and let me know if you have ever been to London and also felt this way!
- all the outfits I posted this month -

E chegamos ao último mês do ano! How crazy?!?

And the last month of the year is here! How crazy?!? Later today I'm going to London so you can imagine how much stuff I have to do, I actually still have to pack 'cause I haven't done it yet. Anyway, since a new month is starting, here are the outfits I wore in November, it was without a doubt the month when the cold really started and you can really see the difference between some outfits. In some outfits I'm wearing a shirt and open shoes and other outfits I'm already wearing a warm knit and boots. But now tell me, which outfit is your favourite?
