Já disse por aqui diversas vezes, mas volto a repetir, outfit posts são os meus preferidos, adoro todo o processo de os preparar, mas também dos que dão mais trabalho. Hoje vamos ou pouco ao behind the scenes de um outfit post e vou então partilhar com vocês todos os passos para ter o post pronto a ser publicado. Espero que gostem!

I've said it here several times, but I will say it again, outfit posts are my favourites, I love all the process to get them ready, but are also the ones that need more work done. Today we're going on the behind the scenes of an outfit post and I'm going to share with you all the steps to get the post ready to publish. I hope you like it!

- PICK AN OUTFIT-

Este é um dos meus passos preferidos, escolher o outfit que vamos fotografar. Temos sempre que ter em mente o conteúdo que vamos publicar durante a semana e às vezes até acabamos por fotografar mais do que um outfit por dia.

This is one of my favourite steps, pick the outfit that we're going to shoot. We always have to have in mind the content we're going to post that week and sometimes we end up shooting more than an outfit per day.

- LOCATION-

Depois temos de procurar um sítio para fotografar que se enquadre com o outfit que estamos a usar. Às vezes já temos um sítio em mente e resulta bem, outras vezes temos de explorar e a procura demora um bocadinho, mas normalmente acabasse sempre por encontrar o background perfeito.

Then we have to look for a location to shoot that goes well with the outfit that we're wearing. Sometimes we already have a place in mind and works really well, but other times you have to explore and the hunt can take a bit more time, but usually we always find the perfect background.

-SHOOT-

O próximo passo é fotografar. Temos sempre de ver se a luz das fotos está como queremos e depois de as definições da câmara estarem prontas, é fotografar. Normalmente, cada outfit demora em média 15 minutos.

The next step is to shoot. You always have to see if the light in the photos is okay and after getting the camera settings ready, it's time to shoot. Usually each outfit takes around 15 minutes to shoot.

-EDIT THE PHOTOS-

Depois começa o trabalho que temos de fazer em casa e que também demora muito tempo. Temos de ver todas as fotos, escolher as que queremos publicar e editar.

Then all the work you have to do at home starts and it also takes a lot of time. We have to go through all the photos, pick the ones we want to post and edit them.

-UPLOAD, WRITE AND PUBLISH -

Por último, temos de fazer o upload das fotos editadas, escrever o post, adicionar todos os links necessários e o post está pronto a ser publicado.

Then we have to upload the edited photos, write the post, add the links that we need and then the outfit is ready to publish.

Há algum tempo que as mom jeans têm sido as minhas calças de eleição, mas tenho-vos a dizer que as flares estão também a ganhar o seu lugar no meu coração. Costumava odiar, mas isto acontece-me sempre, basta ver conjugado de uma outra forma e passo a olhar para essa peça de outra forma. Adoro a vibe dos anos 70 que dão a qualquer look, quase que têm um ar vintage, mas eu adoro! Estas calças já as tinha no meu armário, mas, felizmente, esta estação voltaram a ser tendência e estou a pensar comprar mais alguns pares. Mas e vocês, são fãs das calças flare ou nem por isso? Contem-me tudo!

For a while that mom jeans have been my go-to jeans, but I have to tell you that flares are coming very close to my heart as well. I used to hate them, but this happens to me all the time, I just need to see someone wearing it in a different way and I look at the same piece in a different way. I love the 70s vibe they give to any outfit, they almost look vintage, but I love it! This jeans I already had on my closet, but luckily this season flares are very trendy so I'm thinking about buying a few more pairs. But what about you, do you like flares or not really? Mais uma semana que começa e a loucura da 'Black Friday' aproxima-se. De certeza que já viram muitos posts com todos os descontos que vão haver durante o dia, por isso quis fazer uma coisa diferente e dar-vos algumas dicas para comprar na 'Black Friday'. Espero que gostem!

Another week starting and 'Black Friday' is right around the corner. I'm pretty sure you already saw a lot of posts with all the discounts that are going to be on that day so I decided to do something different and give you some tips for shopping on 'Black Friday'. I hope you like it!

- MAKE A LIST -

É fácil perdermo-nos com todos os descontos que vão haver durante o dia, por isso é mais fácil fazer agora uma lista com tudo aquilo que querem comprar e seguirem essa lista no dia. Assim só compram aquilo que realmente precisam e não gastam dinheiro com peças que se calhar depois vão acabar por não usar.

It's easy to lost yourself with all the discounts that are going to be that day, so the easiest thing is to make a list with everything you want to buy and follow that list on Friday. This way you only buy what you really need and you don't end up buying stuff that you may not wear as much as you thought you would.

-DO YOUR RESEARCH -

Depois de fazeres a tua lista, vai ver o preço a que estão essas peças neste momento. Na sexta-feira vês se o desconto realmente corresponde. Existem muitas histórias de lojas que aumentam os preços no dia anterior para depois ficar o valor original como se fosse com desconto, por isso mais vale estares prevenida.

After making your list, so check out the price those pieces are right now. On Friday you see if the discount really corresponds. There are a lot of stories of stores that rise their prices on the day before so then they put it on the original price as it was with discount, so you better pay attention.

-CHECK DISCOUNT CODES -

Se comprares online, procura os códigos promocionais. Às vezes as lojas podem não colocar os preços com o desconto e assim no momento do pagamento já sabes que código inserir para teres o desconto.

If you're buying online, look for the discount codes. Sometimes stores may not put their prices with the discount and this way on the moment to pay you already know what discount to add so you get your discount.

Descobri a Marlot através da página 'explorar' do instagram e adorei o estilo dela, por isso tive logo the seguir. Sempre fui fã de um estilo mais edgy e ela usa-o na perfeição. /I found Marlot through the 'explore' page on instagram and really liked her style, so I had to follow her right away. I'm really a fan of this edgier style and she does it perfectly.

A Amy já sigo há algum tempo, tanto o blog dela como o instagram e tem um estilo muito próprio. Além disso tem um sentido-de-humor fantástico, por isso preparam-se para rir com todas as suas descrições nas fotos. / Amy I follow for a while now, both her blog and instagram and she has a style of her own. Não me interpretem mal, adoro fotografar o outfit do dia e os posts de outfits são dos que mais gosto de fazer (do início ao fim), mas há alturas e situações que podem tornar fotografar mesmo muito aborrecido e se também são bloggers tenho a certeza que vão compreender.

Don't get me wrong, I really love to shoot the outfit of the day and outfit posts are the ones that I enjoy the most getting ready (from the beggining to the end), but sometimes there are certain situations that can make shooting really annoying and if you're also a blogger I'm sure you're going to understand this.

-PEOPLE STARING AT YOU-

A primeira são as pessoas que ficam a olhar e quando digo olhar é realmente ficar fixados. Eu compreendo que não seja muito normal ver alguém a fotografar no meio da rua, mas é escusado ficar pasmados a olhar e pior ainda, mandar bocas. Isto quando não decidem dar uma de engraçadas e ir para ao pé de vocês ficar nas fotografias também #bloggersofre.

The first one is when people stop to stare at you and when I say stare they really stay fixed at you. I can understand that is not very usual to see people shooting in the middle of the street, but there's no need in stopping to look at you and even worst is when they say something. This is not when they try to be funny and stand next to you to get on the photos as well #abloggersuffers.

-WEATHER NOT COOPERATING-

A segunda situação é quando o tempo decide não colaborar. Ou está imenso vento e ficamos com o cabelo à frente da cara em metade das fotos ou então começar a chover de um momento para o outro, mas infelizmente não há grande coisa a fazer.

The second situation is when the weather decides to not cooperate. Or it's very windy and you get with your hair in your face in half the pictures or it starts to rain from nowhere, but unfortunately there's no much you can do about it.

-NOT FEELING YOURSELF-

Por último, às vezes simplesmente não estamos no mood para fotografar. Ou não sentimos que o outfit nos represente a 100%, ou então estão a ter um bad hair day, as razões podem ser várias, mas mesmo assim you have to work it out.

Last but not least, sometimes you're just simply not in the mood to shoot. Or you feel that the outfit doesn't represent you on 100% or you're having a bad hair day, there are loads of reasons, but you have to work it out anyway.

Tenho a certeza que têm no vosso armário uma boa quantidade de camisolas de malha. Eu falo por mim e, sim, tenho, mas sinceramente não consigo imaginar passar este tempo frio sem elas. Malhas serão sempre a minha escolha de eleição para dias mais frios. E se por enquanto ainda não está assim tão frio, podemos usá-las sem casaco e quando o frio estiver aí em força então podemos juntar mais camadas. Esta que estou a usar é uma recente aquisição e se me seguem no instagram também viram que ontem chegaram mais algumas, por isso posts com mais malhas estão a caminho! I'm sure that you have a pretty good amount of knits in your wardrobe. I speak for myself and I do, but honestly I can't imagine going through this cold weather without them. Knit would always be my go-to for cold days. And if it's not yet really cold, you can wear them without a coat and then when the cold weather really arrives you can add some more layers. This one I'm wearing is a new acquisition, but if you follow me on instagram you saw that yesterday I got some new ones, so posts with knits are on the way! Eu bem disse que a minha colecção de peças em bombazine ia começar a crescer. Depois DESTE post com as calças, agora foi a vez de vir um casaco para a colecção. É o casaco perfeito para esta altura do ano, quente, versátil e em bombazine, I'm in love! A próxima peça acho que vai ser um macacão que já ando a namorar há muito tempo, mas ainda não me decidi em comprá-lo. I was right when I told you that my corduroy collection was going to grow. After THIS post with the pants, now was time to add a jacket to the collection. It's the perfect jacket for this time of the year, warm, versatile and in corduroy, I'm in love! I think the next purchase is going to be a jumpsuit that I've been looking for a while, but I just can't decide do buy it.
