Se têm visto os meus últimos posts de maquilhagem, sabem que este não era o concealer que costumava usar. Mas esse acabou e decidi experimentar um novo. Já tinha ouvido falar super bem deste e, realmente, não deixou nada a desejar. Estou a falar do The Eraser Eye da Maybelline. Como tem esta esponja é super fácil de aplicar e tem uma cobertura excelente. Se andam à procura de um concealer e não querem gastar muito dinheiro, super que recomendo este, uma excelente relação qualidade/preço. E já ouvi imensa gente dizer que preferem este concealer, quando comparado a outros de marcas mais caras, por isso fica aqui a minha dica. Já alguma de vocês o experimentou? If you have seen my latest makeup posts, you know this isn't the concealer I used to use. But that one finished and I decided to try a new one. I've heard so many good things about this one so I decided to give it a go and it really is amazing. I'm talking about the Eraser Eye by Maybelline. The sponge that comes with it is super helpful because it really helps you to apply it and it has an amazing coverage. If you're looking for a new concealer and you don't want to spend loads of money, I really recommend this one, it has an amazing price/quality relation. And I've heard a lot of people saying that they prefer this concealer out of others from higher-end brands, so here is my tip. Have any of you tried it before? Já vos disse que as novas colecções estão fantásticas? Acho que sim! Aliás, acho que ultimamente só vos tenho falado do Outono e o quão ansiosa estou para que ele chegue. Mas hoje, apesar de estar relacionado também, vou-vos falar daquelas peças que quero comprar para a próxima estação. Um pouco como uma lista de compras, mas também claro que algumas das peças coincidem com as tendências da estação, por isso pode ser que esta lista vos inspire também. Digam-me, também têm algumas destas peças em vista?

Did I have told you that the new collections are looking amazing? I think I did! Actually, I fell like all I talk about is Autumn and how excited I am for it to finally arrive. But today although is a bit related, I'm going to talk about what I want to buy for the next season. A bit like a shopping list, but of course some of the pieces match with the Fall trends so maybe this list will inspire you as well. Tell me, do you have any of this pieces in mind?

 CARDIGANS
Casacos de malha nunca foram muito a minha praia, mas, como podem ver pelo outfit de hoje, já me rendi. Acho mesmo que esta estação toda a gente os vai começar a usar e, apesar de também de gostar de os ver abertos, acho que esta estação vai ser assim que os vou usar: fechados e por dentro das calças, quase como se fossem uma camisola.
Cardigans weren't really my jam, but as you can see by today's outfit, I've been trying a bit with them. I really think everyone will be wearing them this season and although I really like to see them open, I think this season this is how I'm going to be wearing them: buttoned up and inside my jeans, almost like a sweater.

 CORDUROY TROUSERS
Na verdade, não me importava nada de comprar todo um fato em bombazine, mas para já, ando à procura de umas calças. No ano passado já comprei umas skinny, mas esta estação quero umas mais largas e bem compridas. Só me falta mesmo escolher a cor, porque a bombazine é uma das tendências da estação e há imensas opções por todo o lado.
Actually I wouldn't mind buying the whole suit, but for now, I'm on the hunt for a pair of trousers. Last year I bought ones in a skinny-fit, but this season I want a pair with a wider leg and way longer. I just have to make up my mind about the colour, because corduroy is one of the trends of the season and there are loads of options everywhere.

 LEOPARD PRINT BOOTS
Claro que nesta lista tinha de ter alguma coisa com o padrão leopardo e se há uma peça que sempre quis neste padrão é um par de botas. Nunca consegui encontrar o par perfeito, ou o padrão não era exactamente como eu queria, ou eram muito altas, mas estou com esperança que esta estação as vou encontrar.
Of course, I had to have something with the leopard print in this list and if there's a piece that I've always wanted with this print is a pair of boots. I just never could find the perfect pair, or the print wasn't exactly how I wanted or the heel was too high, but I really think this season I'm going to find the ones.

 BLACK DOUBLE-BREASTED BLAZER
E por fim e uma peça que, na minha opinião, é uma básico que todos devemos ter no nosso armário, um blazer preto. Não é que não tenha uma, mas, sinceramente, não gosto muito do corte do que tenho. Por isso esta estação estou à procura de um com um corte ligeiramente oversized e com fecho de dois botões.
And lastly, a piece that in my opinion is a basic and everyone should have in their closets, a black blazer. It's not that I don't have one, but honestly, I don't really like the fit of the one that I have. So this season I'm looking for one that's slightly oversized and double-breasted.

No que toca a acessórios, normalmente, deixo sempre tudo muito simples, mas estas peças são aquelas que uso quase tudos os dias. Como podem ver, é tudo prateado, porque é mesmo o que gosto mais, mas algumas delas, se gostarem, têm também em dourado se quiserem. As argolas mais pequenas com o coração são da &OtherStories e são aquelas que uso praticamente todos os dias, é raro tirá-las, mas quando o faço, é para trocar para as argolas maiores, essas são da Parfois e são o tamanho perfeito. Quanto aos colares, estes não os podem comprar, porque foram um DIY, mas sempre que me vêm de colares, são estes que estou a usar, um com uma libra e o outro com a lua. Que acham, gostam destas peças?
When it comes to accessories I like to keep everything quite simples, but these are the pieces that I wear almost every single day. As you can see, everything is silver-toned, but if you like it better most of them you can find in gold-tone as well. The smallest hoops with the hanging heart are from &OtherStories and these are the ones that I use almost every day, it's really rare for me to take them off, but when I do is to change to these bigger hoops, these are from Parfois and they're a perfect size. The necklaces you are not going to be able to buy them because they were a DIY, but every time you see me wearing necklaces these are the ones I'm wearing for sure, one with a pound coin and the other one with the moon. Aqui está mais uma ronda de alguns dos últimos outfits que partilhei com vocês. Qual é o vosso favorito? Para mim, qualquer um que tenha o padrão leopardo é um favorito e, desta vez, há muitos. Temos um com um vestido, uma camisa, uma saia e um cinto ali muito escondido no meio de um all-white outfit. Tenho de vos confessar que este último mês tem sido bem difícil saber o que vestir. Já estou super cansada das roupas de Verão, já me aborrecem e acho que não vos consigo trazer nada de novo com elas. Por outro lado, estou super ansiosa que o verdadeiro Outono chegue, para, finalmente, começar a vestir alguma camadas e usar algumas das minhas peças preferidas de sempre. Here is another round of some of the latest outfits I shared with you. Which one is your favourite? To me, any that has the leopard print is a favourite and this time there are many of those. We have one with a dress, a shirt, a skirt and in the middle of that all-white outfit a belt. I have to confess that has been really hard knowing what to wear this month. I'm so tired of all the Summer clothing, they really bored me and I don't feel like I can bring you anything new with them. On the other hand, I'm super excited for Autumn to arrive so I can finally wear some layers and some of my favouirte pieces of clothing. Autumn, I'm so ready for you, please hurry up!

Cada vez estou mais fã de comprar roupa vintage, aliás, este outfit é composto por, maioritariamente, roupas que comprei em lojas de segunda-mão. Às vezes é preciso procurar no meio de imensa "tralha", mas quando se encontra peças de que gostamos é fantástico. Mas também sei que nem toda a gente é fã de comprar roupa vintage, por isso, se és esse tipo de pessoa, talvez este post te convença do contrário. Hoje tenho para ti três razões para começares a comprar roupa vintage.

I'm really turning into a big fan of buying vintage clothing, actually, almost the whole outfit you're seeing is composed of second-hand clothes. Sometimes you have to look through a lot of crap until you find something you like, but when you do it's awesome. But I also know it's not everyone's cup of tea, so if you are that kind of people, maybe this post will make you get into vintage. Today I have for you three reasons why you should start buying vintage clothing.

THEY'RE UNIQUE
Comprar roupa vintage é a garantia de que não vais encontrar ninguém com uma peça igual à tua. Todas as peças são únicas e é engraçado pensar nas histórias que tiveram antes de serem nossas, são peças com história. Além disso, as tendências são tão cíclicas que é provável que encontres peças que são tendência neste momento. 
Buying vintage is the guarantee that you will never find someone wearing the same piece as you. Every piece of clothing is unique and it's kind of fun to think about the stories they had before you bought them, these are pieces with a story. And besides that, trends are so cyclic that it's very likely to find something that it's very trendy right now.
 
IT'S MORE SUSTAINABLE
Esta é uma razão super importante, pois comprar roupa vintage é bem mais sustentável, porque além de estares a ajudar o ambiente, estás também a reduzir o desperdício têxtil e a superprodução. Não te esqueças que a indústria da moda é uma das mais poluentes, por isso há que fazer tudo o que estiver ao nosso alcance para diminuir esta poluição.
This is a super important reason because buying vintage clothing is way more sustainable because it's more eco-friendly and you're reducing the textile waste and over-production. Don't forget that the fashion industry is one of the most polluting, so we have to do everything we can to reduce this pollution.

YOU SAVE MONEY
Uma coisa é certa, numa loja vintage, uma peça de roupa vai ter um preço bem inferior ao seu preço original, mesmo que seja um peça de designer, por isso, de certa forma, vais estar a poupar dinheiro. Por exemplo, esta camisa custou-me 2€ e as calças 1€, super barato, certo? Nunca numa loja de fast fashion pagarias este preço por este tipo de peças, mesmo em época de saldos.
One thing you can+t deny, at a vintage store the price of a piece of clothing will always be lower than the original price, even if it's a designer price, so in some way, you're saving money. Take this outfit, for example, the shirt cost me 2€ and the trousers 1€, very cheap, right? At a fast fashion store, you would never pay this price for these kind of items, even during the sales season.

Para vos ser sincera, nem acredito que estou a escrever este post, mas é verdade - comprei os sapatos que sempre quis ter, mas que nunca pensei que um dia os conseguiria, efectivamente, comprar. Talvez alguns de vocês pensem que estes slippers são já so last season, mas depois de comprar tantos sapatos deste género, sempre a desejar um dia ter estes da Gucci, decidi juntar algum dinheiro e comprá-los, um pouco como uma prenda de mim para mim, visto que o meu aniversário está mesmo aí à porta. Escusado será dizer que os vão ver muito por aqui, acho que só os vou mesmo largar quando o frio já não me permitir andar com os pés destapados, mas até lá, vamos ser inseparáveis. Amanhã já vos mostro um outfit com eles. Quanto aos sapatos em si, são os Princetown e comprei-os atráves da Farfetch. Se também estão a pensar comprar este modelo, escolham meio número acima do vosso tamanho, eu fiz isso e o tamanho está perfeito. To be totally honest with you, I can't believe I'm writing this post, but it's true - I just fucking bought the shoes I've always wanted to have but never thought the day will come for me to actually buy them. Maybe some of you think these slippers are so last season, but after buying so many shoes in this kind of model, always with these ones from Gucci in the back of my mind, I've saved some many and took the plunge, a bit as a gift from me to me since my birthday is just around the corner. There's no need for me to say that you will be seeing them here a lot, I think I will stop wearing them only when it gets so cold that I can stand to go with my feet out, but until then we're going to be inseparable. Tomorrow I will share an outfit wearing them. But now about the shoes, these are the Princetown and I bought them at Farfetch. If you're also thinking about buying them, go half a size up your usual size, I did it and the sizing is perfect. Estilo pessoal. Como blogger, pedem-me várias vezes para definir o meu estilo pessoal e nem sempre é fácil de responder. Mas esta pergunta fez-me pensar se existirá tal coisa como estilo pessoal nos dias de hoje. E, o que é, afinal de contas, o estilo pessoal? Eu tento ser fiel ao meu, mas às vezes nem sei o que isso significa exactamente. E sabem que mais? Não há nada de errado com isso! Porque nos haviríamos de pôr dentro de estas "caixas" e não experimentar o que está fora delas? Há algum tempo atrás, o meu estilo era bastante minimalista, hoje em dia, não vou dizer que é completamente o oposto, mas é bem diferente. Isso não significa que tenha "traído" o meu estilo, apenas significa que me divirto com a moda e, a meu ver, esse é o objectivo final da moda. Eu sei o que gosto e o que não gosto, mas não quer dizer que amanhã isso não vá mudar. Longe estão os tempos em que colocávamos toda a gente em diferentes "caixas", ou eram os punks, ou os bohemians ou as tomboy. Hoje em dia, somos uma mistura disso tudo e isso é super entusiasmante, não acham? Um dia podemos ser uma coisa e no outro uma coisa completamente diferente. Acho que estamos (quase) todos na mesma página, é raro encontrar alguém que consiga definir o seu estilo pessoal sem qualquer dificuldade, por isso não te preocupes se não o consegues fazer e, entretanto, não te esqueças de te divertir com a moda!

Personal style. As a blogger, you often get asked to define your personal style and it's not always easy to answer. But this question got me wondered, is there such a thing as personal style nowadays? And what is it exactly? I really try to stay true to my personal style, but sometimes I don't even know what that means. And you know what? That's totally fine! Why would you put yourself inside a box and don't try other things? Some years ago, my style was very minimalistic and nowadays, I'm not going to say it's completely the opposite, but it has definitely changed a lot. That doesn't mean I'm not staying true to my personal style, that just means I'm having fun with fashion and I guess that's the whole point of fashion anyway. I know what I like and what I don't, but tomorrow that can change. Long are the days that you would put everyone in boxes, like the punks or the bohemians or the tomboys. Right now, we are a mix of everything and that's super exciting, don't you think? One day you can be one thing and the next another thing. I guess pretty much everyone is in the same page, it's rare to find someone that has her personal style completely figured it out, so don't freak out, it's fine not to know how to describe your style and in the meantime just have fun with fashion!

Aqui estão alguns desejos do momento! Vi este fato no instagram da Lizzy Van Der Ligt (podem ver AQUI) e foi amor à primeira vista. Vocês sabem como eu adoro fatos, são aquela peça que me faz sempre sentir super bem e, uma das coisas boas, é que depois podemos sempre usar as peças em separado. Já tenho um cor-de-rosa, mas em bombazine é algo que está em falta. No ano passado apaixonei-me por este tipo de tecido e esta estação vai continuar em força, por isso talvez este fato venha para o meu armário. De resto, um par de botas pretas, porque nunca são demais, não é verdade? E, como não poderia deixar de ser, uma saia com o padrão leopardo. Gosto muito da que tenho, mas o tecido é de Verão, por isso a busca por uma saia leopardo de Inverno começou oficialmente! Digam-me, qual é a vossa peça favorita?

Here are some of my wishes right now! I saw this suit in an Instagram photo of Lizzy Van Der Ligt (you can see it HERE) and it was love at first sight. You know how much I love my suits, they're the piece that always makes me feel great and of the good things is that then you can wear both pieces separately. I already have on in pink, but in corduroy is something that is missing. Last year I fell in love with this kind of fabric and this season is going to keep being very trendy, so maybe I will add this suit to my wardrobe. Then, we have a pair of black boots, because you can never have too many, right? And then, of course, a leopard print skirt. I really like the one I have right now, but it's in a very summery fabric so the hunt for the leopard skirt for Winter has officially started! Tell me, which piece is your favourite?

Já há algum tempo que não vos trazia das minhas receitas, mas há uns tempos perguntei-vos se queriam que partilhasse com vocês a receita do meu iced coffee. Vocês disseram que sim e aqui está ela! Não podia mesmo ser mais simples e é uma excelente bebida para aproveitar estes últimos dias de Verão. Como o nome indica, o ingrediente principal é o café, por isso o primeiro passo é fazer um café expresso. Depois é só acrescentar leite frio e gelo. Eu costumo usar leite de amêndoa, mas podes usar o tipo de leite que mais gostares. A quantidade de leite também é conforme a tua preferência, quanto mais leite adicionares, mais fraco fica o sabor de café. Experimentem e digam-me o que acham!

It has been a while since I last shared with you a recipe, but some time ago I asked you if you wanted me to share with you my iced coffee recipe. You said yes so here it is! It couldn't be easier to do and it's an amazing drink to enjoy these last days of Summer. Like the name suggests, coffee is the main ingredient so the first step is to make an expresso. Then you just have to add cold milk and ice. I usually use almond milk, but you can use any milk really. The quantity of milk also depends on what you like the most, the more milk you add, the less flavour the coffee will have. Try it out and let me know what you thought of it!

Microblogging. De certeza que já ouviram este termo e cada vez se torna mais popular. Basicamente, é uma forma mais fácil e rápida de criar posts e partilhar informação com os nosso seguidores. E, numa era em consumimos informação de uma forma cada vez mais rápida, faz todo o sentido que o microblogging ganhe cada vez mais adeptos. Sendo o instagram das apps mais usadas de sempre, não admira que este microblogging aconteça maioritariamente lá. Ter um blog dá imenso trabalho e só criar um post ocupa-nos imensas horas, talvez por isso muitas bloggers tenham abandonado os seus blog e tornado o instagram a sua forma de comunição com os seus seguidores, sendo que as descrições dos posts se tornaram mais longas e quase que funcionam como o texto de um post, mas de uma forma bem mais curta e, por conseguinte, mais fácil de criar e muito mais rápido para quem está a consumir o conteúdo. Eu consigo compreender isto, mas tanto como blogger, como leitora de outras blogs, nada irá algum dia se comparar a um blog. Adoro me perder entre blogs, inspirar-me e ler conteúdo que realmente se nota que foi pensado e criado com muito carinho. Já muitas vezes se disse que os blogs estavam a morrer, mas a verdade é que ainda cá estão, talvez menos, mas com mais qualidade também. Talvez este microblogging os faça diminuir ainda mais, mas, eu falo por mim e vou continuar por aqui, porque realmente adoro o que faço.

Microblogging. I'm sure you already heard this word before and it's becoming more popular every day. Basically, it's an easier and faster way to create posts and to share information with your followers. In an era in which the way we consume information is becoming faster and faster, it makes all sense that microblogging is becoming a thing. Being Instagram one the most used apps ever, it doesn't surprise me that this microblogging happens mainly there. Having a blog is a lot of work and only one post can take you hours to make, maybe that's why so many bloggers abandoned their blogs and made Instagram their number one way to communicate with their followers, making their insta captions bigger and almost working as the text of one blog post, but in a shorter way which makes it easier to create and faster to the person who's consuming the content. I can totally understand this, but as a blogger and also as a person who reads blogs, I don't think the day will come that something will replace blogs. I love checking other blogs, get inspired and read content that feels like people care about and feel proud of. I've heard a million times that blogs are dying, but the truth is that they're still here, maybe less, but the quality is better anyway. Maybe microblogging will make them even less, but I can speak for myself and I will keep blogging because I really love what I do.

Basta gostarem um pouco de maquilhagem que tenho a certeza que não conseguem viver sem highlighter nas vossas vidas. Há uns anos para cá tornou-se bastante popular e a procura pelo highlighter perfeito começou na altura. Não vos vou dizer qual é, porque cada um tem as suas preferências e depende de pele para pele, mas tenho a certeza que já viram centenas de fotos no instagram em que o highlighter está tão on fleek que vocês se perguntam como é possível obter assim tanto brilho com apenas um produto. Eu descobri o segredo e claro que vou partilhar com vocês. Este truque só resulta se usarem highlighter em pó (eu uso a paleta Strobe of Genius da Nyx), mas depois de aplicaram o highlighter, adicionem um pouco de setting spray no pincél (podem ler mais sobre o meu setting spray favorito AQUI) e apliquem mais uma camada, vão ficar com um glow maravilhoso de certeza! Se também vocês tiverem algum truque, partilhem comigo, adorava saber.

If you're just a little bit into makeup, I'm pretty sure you can't imagine your life without a highlighter. It became a trend some years ago and the search for the perfect highlighter began at the time. I'm not telling each one it is because everyone has their own preferences and it depends from skin to skin, but I'm sure you've already seen an Instagram picture and wondered how in the hell is possible to achieve such a brighter glow. I've found the secret and of course, I'm going to share it with you. This trick only applies if you use powder highlighter (I use the Strobe Genius pallette from Nyx), but after applying the highlighter you spray your brush with a bit of setting spray (you can read more about my favourite setting spray HERE) and then you apply another layer of highlighter, you will get an amazing glow for sure! If you know about any other trick share it with me, I would love to know it! 

O mês de Setembro é sempre um mês de novos recomeços. Acaba o Verão e a rotina começa novamente. Também aqui no blog queria introduzir algo novo e a primeira novidade é esta rúbrica - What To Read, Eat and See. Vai ser uma rúbrica mensal em que vos vou dar sugestões, como o nome indica, do que ler, sítios onde comer e o que ver, quer sejam exposições, concertos ou peças de teatro. Vou dar sugestões para todo o país, mas claro que me vou focar mais no Porto e Lisboa. Espero que gostem deste novo post e esperem mais novidades para breve!

September is always a month of new beggings. The Summer comes to an end and routines start again. Also here on the blog, I wanted to do something new and the first thing is this post - What To Read, Eat and See. It's going to be a monthly post and like the name suggest I will be giving you suggestions of what to read, places to eat and things to do, it can be an exhibition, a music concert or a play at a theatre. Of course, everything is going to be in Portugal and I will be focusing in Porto and Lisbon. I hope you like this post and expect more news very soon!

WHAT TO READ 
O livro que vos vou sugerir este mês é o livro que acabei de ler ontem mesmo. Estou a falar do Monte dos Vendavais, uma das grandes obras-primas da literatura inglesa. Não é uma história fácil e o que começa como uma história de amor, torna-se numa relação doentia e quase que chega a ser pertubador para quem está a ler. É, sem dúvida, um livro poderoso que, constantemente, mistura o amor com o ódio.
The book I'm suggesting to you this month is the book I finished reading yesterday. I'm talking about the Wuthering Heights, one of the greatest masterpieces of English literature. It's not an easy story and what it starts as a love story becomes a sick relationship that it's almost disturbing to the person reading. It's without a doubt a powerful book that it's always mixing love and hate.

WHERE TO EAT 
Uma das minhas sugestões deste mês para comer cá no Porto é o Cantinho do Avillez. É um restaurante com pratos excelentes bem no centro da cidade, mas a minha dica é irem lá almoçar durante a semana. Todos os dias da semana têm um menu de almoço por 12,5€ que inclui entradas, prato principal, bebida e café.
One of my suggestions to eat in Porto this month is Cantinho do Avillez. It's a restaurant with some amazing dishes right in the city centre, but my tip is to have lunch there during the week. Every day of the week they have a lunch menu for 12,5€ that includes couvert, a main dish, a drink and coffee.

Em Lisboa, a minha dica é o To.B. A especialidade são os hambúrgueres e são realmente muito bons, atrevo-me até a dizer que foi dos melhores hambúrgueres que já comi. Fica também na baixa e o preço médio por pessoa é de 13€.
In Lisbon my tip is To.B. Their speciality are the hamburgers and they are really good, I can actually say that was one of the best hamburgers that I have ever eaten. It's also in the city centre and the price per person is around 13€.

WHAT TO SEE 
Para o que ver as minhas sugestões são o concerto dos Black Angels no Hard Club no Porto no dia 4 de Setembro, já esta terça-feira (24€). E em Lisboa, no dia 29 de Setembro, têm o concerto dos Cave Story na Galeria Zé dos Bois (6-8€).

Uma exposição que também tenho a certeza que é super interessante e que quero imenso ver é a exposição da Frida Kahlo no Centro Português de Fotografia no Porto. Se não conseguirem passar por lá este mês, têm até o dia 4 de Novembro e a entrada são 8€ e 6€ caso sejam estudantes.
An exhibition that I'm pretty sure that it's super interesting and that I really want to see is the Frida Kahlo exhibition at Centro Português de Fotografia in Porto. If you can't go there this month, you have until de 4th of November and the price is 8€, 6€ if you're a student.
